I think posts on twitter like this should have a impact for simple.

Background is the following:
IEM Katowice Female qualifier.
Unikrn vs Revival
I was 15 - 11 for Unikrn. The Server Rebooted and the admins decided to play the Match from 14-11. Revival Won it 16-14.
Current state it that they will replay the game once again from 15-11.

Haha oh boy. Absolutely unacceptable obviously. Let's see how/if TL management reacts. I hate to say it BUT I TOLD YOU SO. Pretty much everybody knew that it was going to be this way with him. I wonder if that's the end of the line already or if they're going to give him more chances. Anyways, interesting to see where this goes.
EDIT: Interesting, all Reddit posts about this on r/GlobalOffensive are being deleted... Huh. I confirmed on Twitter that (the real verified) s1mple did indeed make that tweet so... I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe just Reddit mods being dipshits as usual? Or is there more to it?

Wow
but im not too surprised, its s1mple.

In my opinion Chauvinism like this has no place in the 21st century. Especially not in such a public medium as twitter. Granted I know little about CS community and people therein, progamers being a role-model to millions of kids should watch what they say.
Team management and Sponsors need to act, and quickly. The gaming/computer scenes has enough problems with sexism as is, without public figures ridiculing themselves their team and the entire gaming scene like this in public. Actions like this should not go without reprimands.

the comment its wrong as fuck, and should be punished (at least a "sorry" of some sort)
but why do they have to be role models ? because society said so ? There are families, schools, etc... for that, do not expect one single 20 year old kid to know all life answers and be the example of morality because he is not, and its not his job to be a role model.

ppl are so fucking retardedly sensitive today who cares about this comment and why is the game being replayed after its allready over?

Agreed, he doesn't have to be a role model but he should at least be respectful. He doesn't have to come defend anyone, he's free to have that opinion about girls, but he needs to keep that kind of shit to himself/off social media. There's an acceptable middle ground between this and role models.

It's one thing being too sensitive about someone calling you a retard during a game (or on a forum for that matter). Saying you sucked cocks to be where you are is some orders of magnitude above.

I think as a pro player you should be aware that your public behavior is oberved by alot of people and especially when you are in Team Liquid which has a very good reputation. Basically you are damaging Team Liquids reputation with actions like this. I mean sure its just a comment but a really offensive one.
Well why should you continue a Match on 14-11 when you already were at 15-11 before the Server rebooted? Its a huge different and I bet it would went different with 15-11.
Edit: sorry for bad english

Good to hear.
I mean s1mple is a great talent and he had so many great opportunities but I think he will never learn to behave properly and respect other persons.

if he said the exact same thing about a male team people wouldnt even react, double standards much

Role model or no, you just don't make comments like that.

It's byproduct of anyone who makes their living as an "entertainer" (including athletes). If you're someone that people pay to see, or someone pays you (or your team) to be seen then you are expected to act a certain way. + Show Spoiler + people who become famous because of negative behavior are expected to act that way
