I am curious, but is Csikszentmihalyi's concept of "flow" taken seriously by researchers? I know it gets cited a lot, and I'd be the first to admit my own reading is quite limited, but I found it to be extremely vague and broad almost to the point of meaninglessness.

Have you really never been "in the flow"?
aka perfect focus and mind not distracted? maybe I notice it more because of ADHD, it's day and night between normal me and me in the flow

(i don't really agree with the rest of the article though, but the flow state is very real)
