Don't you mention in depth analysis around me when you convinced me to put roro on my anti.

I mean, when TL released the Dota part of the website, I was in a mean way enjoying that Dota 2 got cred as a competitive esport in a way LoL didn't because LoL didn't get it's own part of TL, I felt TL was being picky in a good way about what they wanted to cover. But now that Hearthstone is getting its own site, one has to wonder, since I certainly find LoL far more competitive than Hearthstone which is a really casual game. Who knows how it develops though, will certainly spend some time on liquidhearth to see what's going down.

I won't personally be using it until several expansions have been released however, as to be honest I feel it's a bit shallow. Not from an 'esports perspective', but even from a casual perspective, it got old pretty fast. Maybe I'm difficult to please, but I don't understand how people who got it when it first came out in closed beta are still interested in playing it. But that's neither here nor there, the game has potential.

That being said, as a heavy TL user(and occasional poster) I don't like the fact that liquidhearth is a separate site. I really like having TL as my main source for SC2 and Dota, and TL having a second site for Hearthstone just means I'll have two ESPORTS tabs open instead of one. However, I can accept the idea that folks like Nazgul know better than me. Either way, I really hope that liquidhearth succeeds and I'll be checking it regularly(but make sure to add TL+ integration: I feel guilty blocking TL adds but banner adds that have movement are a no-go for me).

Hmm, now I see that it's there. Goes to show, the forum navigation on TL is not intuitive at all. The filter-options make finding the right forum even harder. Too many bells and whistles.

I would hate if TL fragmented any further though, because in all honesty, I like the one big mess that is the TL sidebar with 2 screens of stuff to scan.

But seriously, does it really requiere a dedicated site for it? I know that Hearthstone is very popular, but why not integrate it like Dota2.

Has it been discussed to set TeamLiquid up more as the Liquipedia portal? If you go to the Liquipedia portal you then have to choose for the specific Liquipedia you want to go to (SC/SC2/Dota/HS). Isn't it possible to do the same for TeamLiquid to have a portal where you have to choose between. - RTS (where you have SC/SC2 coverage and all relevant fora) - MOBA (where you have Dota2 coverage and all relevant fora and the LoL forum) - Cardgames (where you have HearthStone coverage and all relevant fora) - TeamLiquid Pro (with everything related to the Pro teams) This also makes it easier if TL want's to expand their coverage to shooters/fightgames or other games in the current genres. Or even better a shared mainpage with only general news, blogs and the community fora and a big button that leads you to a separate section with the fora and news for that specific game genre. This imo would keep the site more coherent and maintains a solid feeling of togetherness while still separating the genres enough to avoid the clutter of everything on the same site.

One problem with that is there are people like me(and numerous others) who follow more than one game. I like being able to skim down one gigantic sidebar and see a ton of relevant and not-so-relevant content.

Exactly also why I think that TL should make HS a part of TLnet instead of having it's own site
