That's all that I know. From what I understand Revival, if he manages to survive in Challenger, he'll fight Naniwa at blizzcon in a BO5 tiebreaker.

Noone here knows, but it was before IEM New York and he maybe thought that NaNi wouldn't make 2nd place and that he himself would do better than he did so he cancelled his challenger match to prepare for IEM instead I think.

He wasn't supposed to be at IEM, but when he got the opportunity he probably figured preparing for IEM had a bigger potential to give him points than to play in Challenger League and go into IEM with less preparation. CL would only get him a total of 100 points at best (75 more than the 25 he already had gained by default) and by forfeiting his match he'd get 50 points at best (25 more than he already had). IEM could net him 750 points at best (he got 150 by default). So with better preparation, advancing through group stages would give him 75 points, then another 75 by advancing to the semis, 150 for getting to the finals, and another 300 for winning. Giving up 50 points from CL for a better chance at the points at IEM doesn't seem like such a bad idea. I'm sure he didn't imagine it coming to a potential tie with Naniwa, or not even getting the chance if he messes up in CL group stage (which I'm sure he won't).

In that case both go to Blizzcon and face off for the 16th spot.

So I was reading, and it says that ties within the top 16 are decided by points gained only in WCS events (no tier 1 or 2 tournaments). At least thats what I understand. And if thats right, Revival > Naniwa... Hopefully I am wrong Very. Wrong.. EDIT: "Ties for the 16th spot will be decided by a Bo5 series at Blizzcon." YYAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY

Still. Soulkey in first round. Even if the finals didn't go his way he is still an amazing player. Won't be easy.
