Comparing this dancing to the current standard, one could call it gay, indeed. But in my eyes it's just the kind of faux homosexuality girls have been using in pop culture and on the dance floor to gain more attention to their own heterosexuality. Interesting times

Western men have become a lot more insecure about how macho they are hence why acts like Bieber and One Direction get so much hate. Which is funny because I never remember acts like Nysnc and Backstreet Boys getting anywhere near that level of hate in the 90s. The 90s were a different, glorious, era.

anyways while we're discussing it (homosexuality), something I never thought about before is generally the dance choreographer population has a ton of gay men---are the choreographers in korea kind of "out of the closet" since korea does have a bit more of a "shush gay talk". Since at least the choreographers get pretty publicised with their work, though I don't follow that at all (compared to say, fashion, which also has a lot of gay men but its more likely to ignore the name behind the outfit and only look at the idol/model wearing it. And I don't really mean fashion shows, more outfits for idols) happy bday IU!

The gestures, poses, outfits, etc. Interesting angle... they were vogue-ing it like crazy, that's for sure lol. shinhwa can pretty much get away with anything they want though.

The vocal melody sounds A LOT like the first couple of bars of piano on the start of this song. I don't know if the two pieces of music are somehow related, or if they're from the same drama, but I wasn't able to find what I was looking for. I have heard it coming out of storefronts as I'm walking around the city (I live in Ulsan, Korea). It's sung by a man and I think it's backed by guitar. Please help me out!

You're probably looking for this one: EDIT: maybe not, since I just heard the piano piece and didn't read the next paragraph.. xD
