You brought your team the victory with your two wins.
I was finally able to win in the ace match after a while. It's also been a while since I did an interview after grabbing two wins. I am so happy that I can't express it in words.
You've been performing quite poorly.
After I won my first five games, I had a 30% win ratio that head coach Kim told me about. Thanks to his advice, I was able to find my old form again.
Why do you think you have been performing poorly?
I'm not sure if it's because I developed a bad habit or what but I kept playing strategically for all my televised matches. That's why I was performing poorly. I was trying to play a macro game against Flash when we played against KT Rolster but I ended up switching my strategy right on the spot. I played strategically against ParalyzE but it was a PvP so I saw it as an exception.
Your team is on a roller coaster.
I threw my team into a poor status. I felt bad because of that but I was able to win in the ace match so I think I was able to lessen the weight on my shoulders.
Did you know that you were going to be sent in as the ace?
I practiced. It's hard to predict which player SK Telecom was going to send out so I prepared for all three races.
You could have lost to ParalyzE.
I told myself that I wasn't going to lose. I knew that I was in advantageous situation after my sentries spawned.
In your game against FanTaSy, your high templars played a huge role.
I told myself that I should overwhelm his ghosts. These days, Terrans use mostly a viking/ghost composition. For today's match, I told myself that I should focus on just getting my storms off rather than concern myself over his EMPs.
In the final minute, you gave up on defending and just went for it.
When I first went in to attack, I grabbed a ton of FanTaSy's ghosts. But I also lost a lot of health on my units. I told myself that I would be fine if I went for an elimination race. I had high templars back at my base.
Both games, you had to undergo an elimination race.
I told myself that I didn't want to play any elimination games before I came to the studio. But now that I've secured two victories, I actually want to play more elimination race games.
You must want to most wins award.
Ever since the beginning, that has been my goal.
In just one month, HotS will be released.
I tried it out recently. I still don't know much about it right now. I think there are a lot of areas that need fixing. As I was playing a lot of things really interested me. I think the UI is also really awesome. There are a lot of really fun features about the game. However, I'm disappointed that the mothership no longer can use vortex.
Anything else you would like to say?
I've been performing poorly lately but I want to thank my fans because they kept on cheering for me. Right now my grandfather is feeling ill. I hope he feel better soon. I want to see his healthy form if I go back home to visit. I want to thank Horang2 hyung for coming to the studio to cheer us on. I hope he does well in his future endeavors.

처음 5연승을 제외하면 승률 3할이라고 김동우 감독님이 이야기 해줬다 After the first five games which I won, I had a 30% win ratio, which (CJ Entus manager) KIMDONGWOO went and told me about.

A player on my FPL main won games! <3 herO!
|
herO is starting to become my fav Protoss. I like how excited he gets in the booth when he knows he about to win. It looks like he's having a lot of fun. Also the way he dropped the Zealots on the Stalkers with the WPrism was crazy vs Afrotoss. Thanks for the translation Seeker. I hope CJ Entus starts winning a lot again.

Someone else that misses Vortex in HotS.
Honestly, they don't need to remove Vortex in HotS IMO:
1. Vortex was only a problem in WoL because there was nothing else. In PvZ, Zergs learned to split their BLs and use Spines or other units to support BLs in case of Vortex (block archons from entering).
In PvP, it's only a problem due to PvP's state in WoL (mass Colossus). Since in HotS, it's mostly air toss, Vortex can more easily be dodged and be less of a game changer.
2. In PvZ HotS, Zerg don't even rely on mass BL anymore.
3. Dustin Browder said it himself but he said Vortex was not that much different than a clutch EMP on a group of HT, clutch fungal, etc.
There are plenty of game changing spells in the game. The only reason people focus on Vortex is because it was the main match decider in late game in PvZ (which again, is only a problem in WoL and not HotS).
At first, I really disliked the Mothership because it was a slow arbiter that was easily to take out.
Then when the Archon Toilet came about, I actually started liking the Mothership more and more (part of the reason is from the hype in the LR thread, when San used it for the first time in the GSL).
In terms of coolness factor, the Mothership and Vortex really wins.
Pulling off an Archon toilet on a poor player really motivated to play SC2 (and in video games, awesome stuff that you can pull off. I want to play SC2 as Protoss (even though I have been maining Terran again, was Random before) to bust out that Vortex with the Mothership on those poor Zerg players (or in PvP, the poor protoss player who didn't see it coming).
They should keep Vortex in HotS IMO. Again, it was only a problem in WoL, it's not as much of a problem in HotS. It's one of the few cool spells in the game IMO (I think people overstate and exaggerate how much Vortex was a game changer... again if you compare it to money fungals or EMPs, it's not that much different + unlike fungal or EMP which, splitting or preparing against a Vortex is much easier).
___________
Anyway, sad to see SKT lose but I am a fan of herO (ever since his mannerness saved Stephano...). Hmm, someone, someday, should go ask herO if he intentionally typed GL in response to Stephano's GLHF (even though he knew the rules). If it was just a reflex, then oh well I guess. But if he intentionally (knowing the rules), risked his entire progaming career or even HIS VERY LIFE (KeSPA is serious business), to save Stephano via typing GL so that the KeSPA refs don't disqualify Stephano (seriously speaking, I doubt it because it was a first time player in proleague), then this moment will be remembered forever in eSports history as the ultimate mannerness.
