MKP was in a group with Curious, JD, and MC. He lost to Curious, then beat JD and MC 2-1. Jaedong's play has been wholly uninspiring. And MC just got demolished by alive 2-0 in the Ro32 Code A. Not exactly contextually correct to say that "MKP's ro8 is better than MMA ro32" seeing as how MKP would've been demolished in MMA's group doesn't matter, ro8 > ro32 in my book lol well clearly your book doesn't mind taking things out of context also, i don't think many would disagree with the fact that mkp is doing better lately than mma lately, too (for most of this year), so can't see how you miss that context too. I wouldn't disagree with that either. But we're not talking about overall results 2012. We're talking about their most recent code s performance. And I don't think many would disagree with the fact that mkp's opponents in gsl were 50x easier than mma's to get to ro8 MMA's group had Mana in it. Yes and he crushed Mana 2-0, your point? I understand that you using hyperbole to make a point, but it would have been sufficient to say that MKP's Ro32 group was easier than MMA's Round of 32 group (which judging purely from matchups would be true). However, MMA essentially got a free win in that group while MKP barely made it out. MMA beat Mana to stay in the group. MKP beat Jaedong. Both players immediately dropped down to Code B. If by your definition, mana is a "Free win", then it's pretty safe to say jaedong was a "Free win" as well Oh you, comparing Jaedong to Mana. Also, you should probably look at Jaedong's games in the RO32 before you call him a free win, not that you should ever call Jaedong a free win in the first place.

Lol this thread was more entertaining than the game.... Drones up to 90 drones only to get killed by one push.

Well that was not fun to watch

Now that's how Slayers should look. Well done tonight

yet another surprising series in the world of SC2.

Ouch Liquid, that was not expected, especially having Dark take out Liquid's aces. Maybe we expected too much from TaeJa and HerO, especially because HerO is struggling with PvZ and Ohana is a weird map for Terrans.

He's got the H2H lead over TaeJa when you consider 2011 lol. but this is 2012, the year where Taeja has been considered the best player in the world for the majority of. Don't you remember when TaeJA all-killed Prime and crushed mkp in the ace match? If you made a poll: who would win in a best of 7, taeja or mkp, I'm 99% sure that 95% ppl would vote taeja. actaully, taeja held the h2h last year, but mkp does this year. don't forget mkp's drubbing of taeja 5-1 in ipl. i'm sure such a poll would not favour taeja heavily, if at all. MKP had the easier group. It doesn't matter his stats in TvT. MasterKang is addressing the GROUP not stats of how well a player is doing. If you honestly believe that MVP and Taeja in a group is easier than Jaedong and MC, both of who have dropped out (well MC going to up and downs), you honestly have to reevaluate what "easy" means well this point of his argument was that mkp would have dropped out of the ro32 - no, demolished - if he was in MMA's group, which is something i disagree with. perhaps demolished is hyperbole, but the vast majority would agree that mkp's group was much much easier and that his chances of advancing in MMA's group are extremely extremely slim not extremely slim -> mana should be an easy win, while mvp is difficult, and taeja is definitely beatable. The fight club match was not during TaeJa's rise to prominence. Early 2012 TaeJa is a COMPLETELY different player than he is now. There is a reason TaeJa is poised to take the GSL and MKP is not. TaeJa has been demolishing everybody, with the exception of Rain and younghwa. For you to say that Taeja is not ridiculously favored against mkp is well, ridiculous actually, it was during june, which is about that time taeja did well taeja has been dropping games left and right... don't know how much you keep up
Yet Taeja is in Ro4 while MKP is out. Yup dropping games left and right, but still about to win GSL. nice.

Dark Brown good combo. Can't say I enjoyed the games but thanks anyway, IPL. :3

what a beatdown.. better luck next time.

Wow, really simple play from Brown and Liquid are out.
That's a poor performance from Liquid. Really showing a lack of strength in depth when Taeja and Hero can't win games. Dark and Brown aren't exactly SlayerS' A team. Liquid are meant to be one of if not the premier foreign based team, and if they are relying on now 4 Koreans to win games - and if they can't win games - they're going to be challenged for that title.

Dark looks by far the strongest from these new guys, unlike Arthur or Miso...
Genius is slumping again imo.
Dark on the other hand would be even SlayerS A-team material judging from all his results this month.
