Hi all,
I just bought a Razer Deathadder 3.5G 3500dpi mouse.
I have installed the latest driver off Razer's website but whenever I load the driver, it keeps saying "no mouse detected"
I've downloaded pretty much other alternatives. All I want to do is to setup my DPI but I can't even do that so I'm stuck with default settings.
If anyone could help, that'd be great. Thank you.

Question. When you plug it in, do you get a little alert in the bottom right tray (assuming you're using Windows). Namely one that is one of
1) Yellow caution symbol - USB device not recognize 2) Red symbol - USB driver failed to install properly 3) Normal happy looking thing saying your USB device is ready to use
Basically, uninstall all drivers for mouse you may have installed. We need to see if Windows picks it up.

3. usb device is ready to use.
the deathadder is working, but the problem is that when i use the razer driver to change dpi or change settings, it just keeps saying no mouse detected.

You could just always adjust the settings on the mouse program that is already built into windows. I googled this and found another user on a different forum had the same exact problem. A few solutions were suggested, one that temporarily worked, but no permanent fix. Give it a read though if you want. http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60564

edit: that's exactly my problem (the link you provided)
i've tried those and still, razer driver doesn't detect the mouse even if the deathadder is working. i'm using it as i type this. i just can't change settings at all.

yeah, i have.
it's still saying no mouse detected. also, it says "firmware: n/a"

You may have to just simply RMA it then unless someone else has the answer.

alrightly so my fix was to 1. uninstall synapse latest version 2. uninsall driver via device manager 3. download older version of razer synspse from here 4. install older version and let it update to current version, then TADA!!! open up rasor synapse and you'll now see your mouse

I had that problem when I set up my PC, too. A few un- and reinstalls later, it finally worked. FYI, there is still a legacy driver which doesn't need any kind of registration or cloud connection.
