07:06 KST - method linked here has been disproved here 10:54 KST - Find a full timeline of pro comments (including Spades) in the topic here. 08:47 KST - Summary: Accusations of maphacking have the potential to destroy a player's career if left unaddressed. Because of the potential consequences, we should be careful about accepting unproven accusations. The principle of 'innocent until proven guilty' should be applied here. That does not mean that there has been a conclusion about this case, however, which is why this thread remains tentatively open. Please discuss with caution and use evidence to back up your claims. He actually may have seen it slightly with his floating rax, then scanned it after seeing the small blip, so he may have seen it before it came. Catz checked that out because someone in chat brought it up.

Im actually discusted that someone would defend him People need to re- look at that replay there is a floating barracks on the left corner that spots the smallest glimpse of red, its still sketchy but its not concrete evidence.

Because this thread is still alive, even if 50+ pages after there is no real proof, I'll guess TL mods know who OP is and decided to forget about rules. Anyway, I kinda lost a ton of respect for TL today. Letting this go, as it is, is worse then Reddit without moderation... On reddit, bad posts can be downvoted. No so here on TL.

The only thing that I think they have gotten really accurate so far was Spades reacting to the mass drop at 32:50 on Tal Darim. There's really no explanation there why he would have unsieged the majority of his tanks when Lucifron's main army was outside, then scan an area inside his base he didn't have vision on when the drop was coming. That, I'm very confused about.

I really wish some hacker would come and clarify how all this works so I dont get called out for some "screen lock" Don't worry, you know you didn't cheat. The way that the screen lock works, and I spent like an hour reading the technical details of that btw since this thread is so popular, it's pretty obvious you weren't using it. For one it's supposedly an option that you have to toggle each time you want to look into the fog of war. In other words you would have to be the most active and yet worst map hacker ever to turn that on every single time you looked into the fog of war. Secondly it auto toggles itself off if you start to do other stuff. So all this talk about your camera being focused on X for a long time being indicative of cheating is wrong since it's very evident that at all times you're performing other actions in that location where the camera is locked ... Otherwise the screen lock would have toggled itself off. It's designed to work that way so that it doesn't look too suspicious. Pretty shocking that people are taking a guy's career so lightly. :/

Just proves that spades has halfway decent game sense. More concrete evidence will be needed to convince me. So he moves his ENTIRE army there? Really? Where is the differentiation between a 2 medivac drop and a doom drop? He saw a flash on the minimap for a split second. He moves his entire army because he *KNOWS* Lucifron is doom dropping him and there is NO CHANCE of a multipronged push. *sigh* these games vs Ognis aren't looking great either.

Okay, if you say so. i'm not a pro player so w/e 3 units can= 3 medivacs can= 12 marauders which would certainly necessitate the response that he gave. The 30 seconds can be chalked up to travel time of the medivacs and him being distracted by action at 3rd. The 32:50 incident is nowhere near concrete evidence.

A lot of it, while fishy, could have been chance, or simply smart play. Many things like moving back and forth seemed normal because it was Lucifron's style to be pulling him back and forth.
