Hi, I've had a DA for about four months now, and I've just recently encountered a very annoying issue.
Whenever I plugged in my mouse, it seems to work for about 5 seconds, then then stutter - it just disconnects and immediately reconnects.
It's really annoying and what's the problem? Is the mouse broken? I can seem to solve this problem with a reboot, but that is also annoying to do every time I encounter this problem. It's a mouse problem, as I have plugged this mouse into another computer and it stutters/flickers too.

Try reinstalling the mouse drivers. If that doesnt work your mouse might be broken.

As someone who has razer products and had to struggle with them - fucking run, run now, run, run and leave it, run run run and set it on fire.
|
edit: ups, didn't read op carefully enough
As an razer owner(I also own a broken DA :D (lasted 9 month), but mine developed a double click issue, and an older razer mouse, which stopped working after 1.5 years)- I think, most likely the mouse is broken.

As previously mentioned, you can try reinstalling the mouse drivers. If that doesn't help, you are most likely experiencing a hardware failure. You can verify this by trying a mouse on a different PC and attempting to reproduce the problem.
|
I was able to reproduce the problem on another PC - so it is a mouse issue. I will try reinstalling the drivers later.
In the meantime, time to head over to the ultimate mouse thread for a new mouse ... potentially

If the drivers don't work, then I would recommend calling up Razer support and seeing if you can get a replacement. It doesn't always work, but it's worth a try. I had a Naga RMA'd a few weeks ago. It should still be under the manufacture's warranty if it's only 4 months old. Also try the store where you bought it Sometimes they will replace it, even it's past the return date.

So I uninstalled the driver- BAM! problem stopped happening.
Does razer make drivers that break their mice on purpose?

I have used my friend's DA before, until i got one of my own for birthday. Unfortunately, it had the problem you've described. If I recconect the mouse, or switch ports, the lights on the mouse blink every 5 seconds and the mouse lasgging. Only reboot helps. Reinstalling the drivers and flashing with the latest firmware didn't help. the old mouse works fine, so it seems that my DA is broken.

I actually uninstalled the drivers and it worked for me :/

Im having this problem as well, and uninstalling the drivers hasn't helped :[
EDIT: I've fixed it, just nuke all the razer related processes in the task manager under processes.

I've had a DA for a few months now, the only thing I've noticed is an occasional lag when I startup my PC, as if the drivers take a while to load every boot or something.
Other than that.. I've had no real problems with it. Perhaps the drivers have some sort of coding error.

This exact thing happened to me, I had to return it and received a new mouse ... but I'm really annoyed now because the silky soft cover on top of the mouse now feels like sandpaper.
