I'm giving away a free GSL ticket for this season to a naniwa fan who writes the best naniwa letter of encouragement. http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=328909

As of now i would say Naniwa is the most successful in GSL simply because of the skill you need in Code S compared to when those players got deep. Especially Jinro "Not bashing on Jinro, but just saying."

Puzzle's very good but Ryung has been out of form for the last few months anyways.

NaNiwa's win is impressive period. "Ryung has been out of form for the last few months anyways." ...... go hide in a bathtub filled with caustic soda.

Quoting Idra : " Jinro was first to play macro terran in GSL and therefore he got a head start of all people playing cheesy terran" not exact quote, but its basically what he said on some show last summer... on topic : Gratz to nani, interview was a little awkward, probably was depressed

Because afterwards after getting to ro16 he was happy like a kid in a candy store.

It's not really fair to compare tournament wins to someone like Naniwa who can't compete to the extent Stephano can living in EU. When Stephano wins an MLG or something of that magnitude it would be proper to say that. Naniwa haven't won as much as him recently but he's beaten players of the same or better calibre players as Stephano have. Hm, just like they both said, they dont know who would win (about the casual "trash talk" and taunting that occured on tweeter about a $$$ showmatch between them). Frankly, Stephano doesnt seem to be the kind of guy to win an event like MLG for the simple reason that it requires a shitload of stamina and concentration over 3 days, but in a BO7? I would personally put Stephano a liiiiiiiittle over Naniwa (talking vs code S koreans I mean). About a 1v1 we all know it's random as fuck, lots of mindgames can go wrong for both sides, but it would kinda be the "who's the best foreigner". Lots of people seem to think Stephano is overrated, I really think he isnt, but I also think his style is a step forward in metagame and that he wont dominate too long. Still need the showmatch with some cash at stakes, would be hella fun :D Edit: I forgot, holys**t Naniwa good job, impressive, let us see more of that facestomping next round man, I'm usually not a "foreigner" enthusiast, I really only care for the player, but there I gotta admit, after the probe incident (ahah sounds like an incontinent probe or something) good to see you back in such dominating fashion.
