It's entirely too early to say whether Naniwa is the most successful foreigner in GSL. His record prior to today sucks. If he goes 0-2, there will be many calling today a fluke or "ryung bad tvp, PvP coinflippy," an so on. If he wins his group or at least advances from his next group, then it'll be way too much to call it a fluke even if he then went on to 0-3 ro8.

Got the chance to finally watch the VODs. Sooooo incredibly happy to see him dominate that group. Knew without a doubt he could do it. <3

What about IdrA, HuK and Jinro? :|

Not bashing on Naniwa, but just saying.

As of now i would say Naniwa is the most successful in GSL simply because of the skill you need in Code S compared to when those players got deep. Especially Jinro "Not bashing on Jinro, but just saying."

Yeah but Jinro did it three times. Not hating on Naniwa but bro he got a free code S seed and beat two players. Puzzle's very good but Ryung has been out of form for the last few months anyways.

Quoting Idra : " Jinro was first to play macro terran in GSL and therefore he got a head start of all people playing cheesy terran" not exact quote, but its basically what he said on some show last summer...

on topic : Gratz to nani, interview was a little awkward, probably was depressed

I think Mr.Chae was kinda right about NaNiwa being depressed before the games. Because afterwards after getting to ro16 he was happy like a kid in a candy store.

He is always in the "-_-" attitude before important games

Well done, Naniwa

Actions speak louder than words.

But for what it's worth, it still has to be said that you're a total baller.

Well that's a good thing though because he's in 100% focus. He knows that he can lose so he doesn't take anything for granted or try to act like he's gonna win. He just plays his best and let the results speak for themselves.

Wow, that's unusual. There's not usually an LR anywhere, so I just assumed. *reads*

I dont like his personality in some ways either, but you got to respect the dedication of the guy. He really gives everything, and it payed off in GSL this time, well done!

Although ryung wasn't playing his best mu, i thought nani looked quite good against puzzle. Not as convincing as others who went through in other groups, but definitely good
