Fenix was actually a very very strong player before going to korea. He hasn't imrpoved that much, he just had the opportunity to show his talent. I've seen Grubby stream and I've heard a ton of good things on how he's improving, I wish him best luck in korea but doubt he'll improve a lot in 1 month. But I think he already has the necessary tools to perform well, we'll see.

I think he is going to do great! After winning IeSF Qualifier and placing highly in recent tournaments, I think he has a great chance

if he get in the same mood that he got when he was korea to play wc3 he will do more than great.

Sooooo many foreigners going to Korea, so awesome!

Well I guess you can say that, but Fenix had no recent results worthy of mention before he went to Korea and is tearing it up there, so I think it's safe to say he improved or at the very least stopped slumping.

He got first at IEM NY last year, and he got Ro4 at Dreamhack Summer 2010 beating oGsTOP along the way.

Just like the old WC3 days, but don't just stay for a month! Stay until you are a beast

I would to see me some Grubby in Code A. I dont know if he will improve, but it cant be a bad thing to go to korea. More foreigners to GSL!
|
Good luck Grubby! It will be tough to qualify for code A, but even if you don't succeed, I'm sure you'll learn a lot =)

Grubby is pretty awful at sc2 unfortunately... I think he is wasting his time.

grubby fairs pretty well on the ladders but no tourney results as of yet, heres hoping he can pull it off

Grubby has improved so much in recent months as is. I had the opportunity to watch him at Raleigh and I expect him to continue to improve the rates he has. Good luck to him, I hope he gets into Code A. :D

Oh if TL wasn't such a civilized place.

Brings a smile to my face to read this announcement. Grubby Fighting!!
Why am I still surprised... all those negative comments *shakes head*. Makes me sad. I can't decide if some people (posters) are just Grumpy Old Men or Spoiled Children. It's very easy to be happy and exited for someone. To celebrate his or hers accomplishments. It's a choice to be negative - don't be that guy -

Sweet! Grubby is one of my favorite players:D
