This thread is not really about sc2, so I made this in general section.
In "huk to eg" topick there was a poll about "do you think huks salary is over 6 figures?" which caused some arguing about what does that mean.
Some dude who claimed to be financial analyst said that 100 001 is "over 6 figures". He is obviously wrong, and clearly is either troll or his "financial education" is some very low tier school which does not really teach anything if he does not understand this kind of things at all. He is obviously wrong so we dont need to argue about it.
Other thing that I want to mention is that it is not reasonable to assume that polls maker really meant to pronounce that salary in form of 100,000.0$ which would be "over 6 figures". If he really meant to ask people do they think huk earns 10,000.0 or 100,000.0 dollars, then that polls question about "is his salary more than 6 figures" would be correct, but it is not feasible theory. Also, if salary is announced in that form, then those decimals are usually up to 1/100 of dollar like 10,000.00$ which means that "over 6 figures" would be already at 10,000.00 which is laughable thing to even ask when we take note that we are discussing about Huks salary.
Most reasonable thing to assume is that he meant just in accuracy of one dollar or more when "over 6 figures" is atleast one million.

over six figures obviously means 100,000+. No need to be pedantic about it.

Is this seriously worth making a thread about in your mind? Just let it go, man.

Gonna get closed soon, I hope. Did you even learn maths before? Amazing how stupid some threads are...

Wait, what?
A six figure salary is clearly something more than $100,000 per year. I have no idea how that can be construed any other way, nor why it's worth a thread. .

6 figures means 100k+, pretty common knowledge there, and yes, please close down this thread

Completly not thread-worthy, but for the sake of argument, over 6 figures in a general sense means $100,000+

You're giving a pretty good impression so far, just quietly.

100,000 has only 6 digits. If there is more digits then its either atleast one million or 100,000.0 but this is not reasonable thing to assume in that polls context.
