I remember seeing a PvZ, not sure who nor which 4 player map (probably Python), but it had the protoss player (1 o'clock position) sending the first four probes out to the other 3 spawns, 2 to the cross spawn, and then sending all 4 into the zerg base (8 o'clock position) at once, to harass the drones, which kept stacking.
This game ends with the 5th Probe bringing the protoss's econ up enough to pump zealots to defend his ramp and eventually break the zerg.
I'm just looking for either the VOD or the replay, either is fine.
Note: This may very well not have been between progamers.

Didn't Nal Ra do it once too? Or was that different?
Ra did it once, but I don't think it was a high level game. His opponent seemed like quite a noob, which is probably why he attempted it. ^^ It wasn't even very effective. I think Ra came out of it with a disadvantage but he still won due to the lesser skill of his opponent.
Actually I have lost to this build when offracing as terran vs a friend (e-raged afterwards of course). The tricky thing is to make sure you gotta keep mining w/a higher # of scvs than probes he would be mining, and micro well vs the probes. It's actually not that bad lol.
How can you lose with 60 HP units that attack twice as fast as any other peon unit and can REPAIR EACH OTHER? Terran has the ultimate imbalance of having mining units that double as attackers.

not twice as fast, a scv can kill a drone/probe while only losing 30 hp so its more like 33% faster.

I heard somewhere that the attack rate of the scv increases if you keep clicking your target..? Is this true? I do it sometimes when my scvs battle drones/probes in the beginning of the game.. but I am unsure if it yields anything.

it doesn't.
and into the rainbow did the probe rush versus a terran, ican't remember what map but it was a snow one

It actually does from my expierence. I think its related to the scv attack animation and its acceleration. I used to think it was just a myth but I started rapidly clicking attack on enemy probes/drones to deal with the acceleration issues(it 100% helps with that..it makes it much much harder for an enemy probe or drone to micro kill your scv) and there seemed to be a noticeable difference. I was killing a lot more drones/probes than before even at C level which I would attribute to the change in the amount of time it takes for their probe/drone to die. The increase is very slight but definitely noticeable. I could be wrong but I doubt it

have you seen how long the probe range is? Unless the SCV is right in the middle of the barracks, it's in danger of probes harassing it
This reminds me of the Probe vs SCV replay on luna.. good times. To answer your question : You probably saw some foreigners play, so it would be hard to link you.

Yes it does. If you continuously right click very fast with scvs on a target they will attack faster.
They will also follow the target faster. When I play vs high level terrans you can see the difference when trying to probe harass because you can't run-shoot with your probe as their scv will hit you every time, but on low level opponents they don't spam click your probe so you can run-shoot it and kill an scv.

That's not from faster attacking, that's just reducing the time it takes for you scv to get to the enemy unit. You're essentially preventing your scv from decelerating after it attacks. The attack is just as fast as before, there's just less pause in between as your slow scv tries to chase after the drone/probe. If you want to test out the actual attack speed, have it attack a building with spamming right click, it's the same speed as a normal a move'd scv.

Firstly, you don't have time to repair because you have to use scvs to mine and scvs to attack, if you have scvs to repair you won't have enough scvs mining or attacking.
Secondly, yeah as previously mentioned probes auto-regen + longer range so they just target, and run back, target, and run back.
Don't assume that it's ez as hell to go against if you have never done it before, because it's surprisingly difficult. If you attack with too many scvs, you don't have enough mining and protoss will end up ahead. If you mine too much, you will lose your scvs and protoss will be ahead.

If you repeatedly right click on the target with an scv (be it moving or not), the scv WILL attack faster due to a glitch in the animation, causing the animation to sort of restart in a time that is quicker then actually just letting it attack normally. Trust me, I've had to fight off many-a pylon rush with this ^^.
