Nada was strong even through a dangerous time. Even though his strategy was somewhat revealed after the decision to restart the game, he used the same strategy receiving a lot of praise from fans.
역시 이윤열(위메이드)는 위기의 순간에 강했다. 재경기 판정을 받은 뒤에 전략이 어느 정도 노출되었음에도 불구하고 똑같은 전략을 사용하며 승리를 따내 팬들의 박수갈채를 받았다.
Nada got his 6th Proleague win against KTF's 815 on the 14th of June during the 10th week of Proleague on the map Othello. His fast tech into siege tank drop left a deep impression. Also, he marked his 1000th televised game with a win.
14일 신한은행 프로리그 2008 10주차 1경기 KTF와의 4세트 오델로에 출전한 이윤열은 배병우(KTF)를 꺾고 개인전 6승째를 거뒀다. 빠르게 테크트리를 확보한 뒤 시즈탱크 드롭을 감행하는 필살기가 인상적이었다. 또한 이윤열은 자신의 1000번째 경기(공식-비공식전 포함)를 승리로 장식하게 됐다.
Nada said that "I am tired of doing 1rax FE" and revealed that "this was a build originally planned for a previous ace match. Because it was my 1000th game and also a TvZ, I braced myself and used it systematically."
이윤열은 " 1배럭 더블이 스스로 너무 지겨웠다"며 "예전에 에이스결정전을 위해 준비했던 이 빌드를 꺼내든 것이다. 마침 1000전이기도 하고 저그전이었기 더욱 체계적으로 가다듬어서 사용했다"는 소감을 밝혔다.
The following is an interview with Nada
다음은 이윤열과의 일문일답.
-Your strategy was fresh
-I was tired of doing 1rax FE. So during practice it was quite wearisome. So that's why I brought out a build that had been prepared for an ace match in the past. The zergs that I used this build against gave me a lot of compliments.
- 전략이 신선했는데
▲ 1배럭 더블이 스스로 너무 지겨웠다. 그래서 연습 과정도 너무 괴로웠다(웃음). 그래서 예전에 에이스결정전을 위해 준비했던 이 빌드를 꺼내든 것이다. 마침 1000전이기도 하고 저그전이었기 더욱 체계적으로 가다듬어서 사용했다. 이 전략을 당해본 저그들이 칭찬을 많이 해줬다.
You had to restart the game.
-Truthfully, in that situation the player who prepared a unique strategy is at a disadvantage. Although regulations are regulation, if it was just the players staying at the computers and then replaying it, it would have been good. But then they called for a team meeting so my strategy was revealed, leaving me at a severe disadvantage. However for my 1000th game I really wanted to use this strategy. I really think that in the future this regulation needs to be revised.
- 재경기 판정을 받았다
▲ 사실 그런 상황에서는 초반에 전략을 준비한 쪽이 불리하다. 규정도 규정이지만 모니터만 바라보고 있는 상태에서 재경기를 하면 좋은데 작전회의를 통해 전략이 노출되면 너무 불리해지기 때문이다. 하지만 오늘 1000전을 위해서 이 전략을 꼭 사용했다. 앞으로 규정이 수정될 수도 있다고 하는데 이 부분에 대해서는 추후에 가다듬어져야 할 필요성이 있지 않을까 싶다.
You wavered due to the mutaling attacks.
-I really felt how dangerous it was to be overconfident. I felt that in this situation there is no way I could lose. I wavered a lot at the first attack but during the second attacked I made sure the bunker stayed repaired.
- 저글링, 뮤탈리스크 공격에 흔들리기도 했었다
▲ 방심은 금물이라는 사실을 다시 한번 뼈저리게 느꼈다. 이런 상황에서 절대 질 수 없다고 생각했다. 첫 공격에는 많이 흔들렸는데 두번째 공격을 당할 때에는 필사적으로 벙커를 수리했다.
Did you expect the opponent to expand?
-My first drop didn't kill that many drones. By using a scan I found that his main still had a lot of drones which meant his income must be pretty high, so I thought he had probably expanded somewhere.
- 상대의 멀티를 예측했었나
▲ 첫 드롭 때 드론을 많이 잡아내지 못했다. 상대의 본진에 스캔을 사용했는데 여전히 드론이 많았고 그 정도의 자원력이라면 다른 지역에 충분히 멀티가 있을 것으로 생각했다.
You got a win for your 1000th televised match
-Truthfully I am not very aware of these kind of stats but I am very thankful to the fans who were taking care of it. Because a fan left a comment to me asking me to definitely win my 1000th match, I prepared even more meticulously.
- 1000전을 승리로 장식했다
▲ 사실 나도 그런 전적검색을 잘하지 않는데 팬들이 1000전을 챙겨주는 모습에 너무 감사드린다. 어떤 팬이 1000전은 꼭 이겨달라는 글을 남기셨는데 그 글을 보고 정말 필사적으로 준비를 했다.
You must be dissatisfied being eliminated from both leagues.
-Because I dropped from both at the same time it feels a bit empty. However, because I've been though situations much worse than this I will prepare to come back again. And since there is still Proleague I will do my best to put on a good showing.
- 양대 개인리그에서 탈락한 것은 아쉬울 것 같다
▲ 한번에 다 떨어져서 허무한 감이 없지 않아 있다. 그래도 이보다 더 많은 우울함을 견뎌냈기 때문에 다시 일어날 준비를 잘 할 것이다. 그리고 프로리그가 있기 때문에 더 좋은 모습을 보여주기 위해 노력하겠다.
Your desire to win another title must be great.
-In the past even when we won it wasn't at 광안리. (translator's note: the beach in Pusan where Proleague finals are held) I want to win something on the big stage and then go visit Las Vegas. (translator's note: nooooo nada don't get sucked into poker T_T)
- 우승에 대한 욕심도 강할 것 같다
▲ 예전에 우승했을 때는 광안리도 아니었고 지금처럼 규모가 컸던 것도 아니다. 다시 한번 큰 무대에서 우승을 하고 라스베가스에 가고 싶은 마음이다.
