-KTF는 3대 프로토스 보유하고 있는데, 다들 경쟁은 안하나요?
▶아무래도 경쟁의식은 조금씩은 가지고 있겠죠. 그래야 계속 성장할 수 있다라는 생각이 들구요. 그래도 숙소내에서는 아주 친하게 지내고 있어요. 장난도 많이 치며(웃음).
-KTF currently holds 3 Great Protosses within its ranks; do you compete against each other?
▶There has to be at least a little bit of competitive spirit. I think that it's a good thing since we'll keep pushing each other and grow. But we still get along really well playing around with each other a lot too (laugh).

-홍진호 선수가 다이렉트 인터뷰에서 박정석 선수가 복귀한 김동수 선수와 맨날 티격태격해서 시끄럽다고 했는데 둘이 친한가요?
▶ 네. 매우 친하고 가끔은 심한 장난도 칩니다. 음. 힘쌈? 상대도 안되지만. 그냥 장난으로 물구나무서기 누가 오래있나 등을 하죠. 한동안 제가 이겼는데 지기 싫어하는 성격이라 그런지 몇날며칠을 연습하더니 최근엔 제가 지기도 합니다.
-Hong Jin Ho (Yellow) has said in a direct interview that you and Kim Dong Soo (GARIMTO) fight with each other every day and cause havoc. Are you two good friends with each other?
▶ Yes. We are very good friends and we play really bad jokes with each other. Mm. Who's stronger? He's not even a worthy enough opponent, but we play around and see who can do a handstand longer for fun. I won for a while but he's practiced a lot and caught up to me since he doesn't like to lose so I lose from time to time.

-박정석 선수 등짝이 매력적이라고 하는데. 관리를 하는 것이냐는 질문입니다. 어떤가요? 관리 하십니까?
▶음. 제가 땀흘리는 운동을 좋아해서 그런지 옛날부터 운동은 꾸준히 했거든요. 근데 등짝이라는 별명이 생기고 나서 부터는 할때 더 열심히 하게 되더라구요. 그렇지만 유난히 등 운동을 하는 편은 아닙니다.
-People say that your back is sexy looking; the person is asking if you manage it. So how is it? Do you take care of it?
▶Mm. I'm the type of guy that likes to exercise a lot and sweat a lot so I've always been exercising. But after I got the nickname "sexy back" I ended up exercising even harder. I don't do anything to exercise my back in particular though.

-박용욱 선수와 개인적으로 친한 것으로 알고 있는데 박용욱 선수를 어떻게 생각하십니까.
▶그냥 친구죠. 뭐 별생각 없습니다. ㅡㅡ 들으면 섭섭할 수도 있겠지만 원래 그렇게 놉니다.
-I hear that you are good friends with Park Yong Ook (Kingdom); what do you think of him?
▶We're just friends. Nothing to really think about ㅡㅡ It might be anticlimactic but we're just like that.

-박정석 선수가 스타크래프트를 하게 된 경위를 말씀해주세요.
▶ 중학교때 합기도를 다녔는데요. 2단 심사가 끝나고 2단 단증을 받으러 가야되는데 친구따라 PC방에 놀러갔다가 그만 푹 빠져서 합기도 그만두고 스타만 했어요. 합기도 사범이 꿈이었는데 스타 접하고 나서부터는... 합기도 사범이 됐다면 지금쯤 군대 다녀와서 사범이 돼 있겠죠.
-How did you get to start playing starcraft?
▶ I was doing Hap Ki Do( similar to TKD) in middle school; I took the test to become 2 Dan and was supposed to go get my certificate of being a 2 Dan but I ended up going to a PCBang and falling in love with starcraft that I even stopped doing Hap Ki Do. My dream was to become a Hap Ki Do instructor but after I got into starcraft... If I became a Hap Ki Do instructor I would have come back from the army about now and working as a instructor.

- 홍진호 선수가 박정석은 말을 안 듣는다고 했습니다. 그런데 본인 생각은 어떠신지
▶어떻게 말을 안듣는 다는 건지..잘.. 제가 느끼기엔 진호형이 형들말 제일 안듣는 걸로...여기까지 하겠습니다. 선수 보호 차원에서..
- Hong Jin Ho (Yellow) told us you are uncontrollable and don't listen to anyone. What do you think?
▶What is he talking about... hm.. I feel that Jin Ho is the most rowdy person... I'll stop here so I don't damage anyone's feelings.

-팀내 자체평가전 1위는 한달에 몇번 정도 하시나요
▶최근에 1위 한적은 없습니다. 항상 중간에서 상위정도만..요즘 젊은이들이 만만치 안더라구요.
-How often do you get 1st place in the within-team ranking matches?
▶I haven't gotten 1st place in recent times. I'm always in the middle to higher side.. The youngsters these days are quite good.

-거울을 보면서 잘생겼다고 생각하신적은 있나요?
▶제 생파때도 말씀드렸지만 가끔 있습니다. 아주 가끔. 누구나 그럴때가 있다고 생각합니다. 그리고 가끔은 무서울때도.. 누구나 그렇지 않다면 제가 이상한건가요?
-Do you ever think you're good looking when you look in the mirror?
▶I've said it before but yes it does occur to me often. Very often. I think everyone has those moments. Sometimes it's scary though.. Am I weird? I think everyone's like that once in a while.

-팀내 분위기 메이커는 누구입니까.
▶팀내 분위기 메이커는 김동수 선숩니다. 삭발한 이후로 별명은 이모텝으로 불리웁니다. 미이라에 나오는 이모텝과 흡사해서 그런거 같습니다.
-Who is KTF's pump-up person?
▶It's Kim Dong Soo (GARIMTO). After he shaved his head he's been nicknamed Imhotep. He looks like Imhotep from the Mummy.

-박정석 선수를 모델로 만들어진 모바일 게임 해보셨나요.
▶아. 죄송합니다. 아직 게임을 접해보지는 못 했습니다.
-Have you played the mobile game that featured you as a model (Translator's insert: I guess the main character)?
▶Ah. I'm sorry but I haven't played that game yet.

-강 민 선수는 MSL 3회 연속 4강에 오르는 등 활약하고 있는데 본인은 다소 부진하시죠. 어떻게 생각하십니까
▶나도 빠른시일내에 좋은 성적내야 되겠구나 싶어요. 가끔은 부럽기도 하구요.
-Kang Min (Nal_rA) has been playing really well lately, reaching the MSL semifinals 3 times in a row. What do you think of your slump?
▶I want to do well like him in the near future. I am sometimes envious of him too.

-박영민 선수와 경기를 치르고 무승부가 됐는데요. 그때의 기분을 조금 이야기 해주실 수 있나요.
▶ 다크를 막고 제가 많이 유리하다 생각해서 멀티도 빨리하고 캐논도 마구지어서 그런지 공격갈때쯤엔 상대도 캐논으로 방어를 해 뒀더라구요. 그래서 장기전까지 가서 무승부 되는 바람에 몸도 지치고 정신도 지쳐있었죠. 많이 아쉬웠습니다. 그냥 병력을 꾸준히 생산해서 계속 공격을 했어야 되는데 캐논박고 멀티하는데 자원을 투자하는 바람에 장기전에 무승부가 나서...
-Your match with Park Young Min (Much[gm]) resulted in a draw. Can you tell us how you felt at that time?
▶I thought I was at an advantage since I successfully blocked a DT rush so I took an expansion and made lots of cannons and wasted too much time. By the time I attacked he already had a good defense with cannons. I was tired after that game since the game went on for a long time and ended up in a draw. I was really disappointed. I should have kept attacking and overpowered him but I ended up drawing because I spent my resources on taking an expansion and making cannons.

-자신의 천적이라고 생각되는 선수는 누가 있을까요?
▶천적이라.. 요즘은 잘 모르겠네요. 제가 너무 많이 져서 많은 사람들이 천적이겠죠.
-Who do you think is your worst enemy?
▶Worst enemy... I'm not sure these days; I've been losing a lot lately so a lot of people are my worst enemies.

-디시인사이드에서의 박정석 갤러리에서 선물을 줬다는데. 어떻게 쓰시나요?
▶아~ 최근에 마우스를 교체했는데 등갤에서 보내주신 마우스를 사용하고 있습니다. 버튼감도 좋아서..ㅋㅋ티셔츠는 지금도 입고 있습니다.ㅋㅋ감사히 잘 쓰고 있어요.
-I heard that the members of DCinside's Park Jung Suk Gallery sent you a present; how are you using them?
▶Ah~ I changed mouses recently and I am using the one I received; it has a good feeling on the buttons... keke I still wear the t-shirts. keke I am using them thankfully.

-요즘 추세를 따라가려면 자신의 스타일에도 변화를 줘야 한다고 생각하십니까?
▶줘도 시원찮더라구요. 그래서 그냥 제 스타일로 밀고나가기로 했습니다.
-Don't you think you have to alter your playing style to keep up with today's trends?
▶I've tried but it didn't work out that well so I decided to just push it my own style.

- 마인 역대박을 잘 내시던데요. 역대박을 의도하려면 어떻게 해야 하나요.
▶마인 위치를 보고 병력상황을 보면서 노립니다. 음 예를 들면 마인을 전진매설해놓고 다시 전진해올때를 노립니다. 프로토스는 언제나 암울하다는 이야기가 있습니다. 하지만 지금도 민이형이나 박영민선수처럼 잘하는 사람들이 꼭 있습니다.
- How do you zealot bomb so well?
▶You look at the mine placement and the army's position. For example, if mines are placed in front of the army I wait until the army pushes out onto the mines and go for the zeal bomb. People say that Protoss is a depressing race but there are people like Kang Min and Park Young Min who play really well.

-박정석 선수의 2007년 목표는 무엇입니까.
▶매해 목표는 동일합니다. 단체전 개인전에서 우승하는 것이 목표인데 지금은 예선통과하는 것과 단체전에서 플레이오프까지 가는게 목표입니다.
-What is your goal for the year 2007.
▶I have the same goal every year. I want to win in the team plays and the individual matches but for now I want to get through the preliminaries and I want to go to the playoffs as a team match player.

-요새 신참 게이머들이 대회를 휩슬때 무슨 생각이 드시나요?
▶부럽습니다(ㅠㅠ). 성적이 부럽습니다. 젊음은 부럽지 않습니다.
-What do you think of the newcomers that sweep the big leagues these days?
▶I am envious(ㅠㅠ) of their accomplishments. I don't envy their youthfulness though.

-다시 결승에 오른다면 결승전 상대로 누구와 붙고 싶습니까.
▶최연성 선수와 붙고 싶습니다. 최연성선수와의 다수 경기들이 팬분들께서 재미있어하셔서 입니다.
-Who do you want to play if you reach the finals of the OSL again?
▶I want to play against Choi Yun Sung (Oov). The fans have fun when the two of us play.

-술버릇이 제일 깨는 선수는 누구입니까.
▶술버릇 깨는 선수는 없습니다. 개인적으로는 용호가 좀 깹니다. 술마시면 자면서 말합니다.
-Who drinks the least in the team?
▶Everyone drinks on the team. But Yong Ho (chojja) doesn't drink that much. But he talks when he falls asleep after drinking.

-한빛부터 같이 따라다닌 변길섭 선수와는 친한가요?
▶길섭이랑도 친합니다.
-Are you good friends with Byun Kil Sup (Sync?) who followed you all the way from hanbit?
▶I am good friends with him too.

-KTF는 리얼스토리나 g피플을 찍은적이 없는데 찍고 싶지 않으세요?
▶글쎄요. 그냥 그렇습니다.
-KTF hasn't done a "real story" or "gPeople" yet; do you want to do something like that?
▶Eh I don't know. It's all right I guess.

-마무리 인사 한마디 부탁드립니다.
▶오래간만에 팬들과 온라인 상에서 만나 즐겁고 재미있는 시간 가져서 행복했습니다. 오늘은 친구와 약속이 있어서 만나러 나가야 합니다. 아무튼 오늘 이렇게 찾아주셔서 감사드립니다. 그럼 즐거운 주말 보내세요. 고맙습니다.

Very often vs once in awhile is big difference. Ahahahahahha.

HAHAHA that was the best interview for a lonnnnng time. Not boring at all and got quite a few laughs.
