I've ran along the Korean ladder for some time now and I've noticed quite some things... Koreans play way more aggressive and do gateway expands more and incorporate dark templar a lot of the time with double gas at 15 at the GM level. I have seen sOs do it but I just don't know how to make it work vs roach/hydra style at my level (1650~ point master last season, 1300 now). Is there any kind of cool tricks to it, should I just go for 2 dark templar to the natural, 1 to the main, then transition into a zealot/archon/sentry all in or what? My current play with it is pretty crappy and I'd like some help on this a lot. I've also tried copying sOs proxy stargate style, but I'm at a loss at somethings:
1) It's always very hard for me to proxy it and make it be unscouted. I saw soo lose to it, and I just wonder why... It's a gateway expand and there could be aggression, why no scouting around the map for any proxy pylons or whatever?
2) Should I just put it at home and deny scouting, deny watchtowers, and kill overlords with stalker so that the oracles cannot be scouted and will do damage? What's the point of proxy if oracles are fast already?
3) My oracles only killed 10 drones, I feel as if they are not effective enough. Please help with this. Thanks

I win both games, but I feel like I have TONSSSSS to improve...
Suggestions plz would be great!

bump plz. I need a lot of help.

Firstly you labelled the replays the wrong way round
Anyway, stargate game: I think the oracle could have maybe done a little more, I've seen where pros get about 5 and then use them to focus down the lair/tech rather than drones, which looks very strong. The followup was good, although you were kinda lucky he chose infestors which imo are one of the worst things to deal with immortal/sentry allin. If he had gone spire or swarm host (which he should imo) he woulda had a much better time against your allin. I think what you're doing overall is fine though, just practice with the execution.
DT game: You have 2 options with DTs: 1) don't split them up and use the monstrous DPS to focus something down, like a hatchery or all the tech buildings. 2) split them to kill drones at all three bases. Don't send them all into one base to kill the drones, that's far easier to shut down and doesn't tax your opponent's multitasking as much as it should. Some people overestimate killing drones, they are quite easy for zerg to replace, unlike a hatchery which can be game ending. Also there's no need to transition into an allin. Taking a third behind DTs can be strong because of how much they can force your opponents to be defensive, however it can also prompt your opponents to just morph a couple of overseers and make nothing but units to counterattack you on the premise that you won't really have any units - which is true. Imo make sure you get a good idea of what the zerg is doing with the DTs, and I think in maps with an easy third, like Akilon, a macro followup could be strong, but then on good allin maps, such as belshir vestige, that could be a deadly followup if you killed a hatchery or something like that. But again, your game looks fine as you are, it's just things like execution and macro to be improved, not problems with your builds.
hope I helped.

Where/how are you watchin sOs's style?
|
This reads kinda pretentious. You talk about the KR ladder and the builds used at the GM level, and by sOs. The replays are actually played at NA ~1,1k master league... So why is the KR stuff even relevant?
No offense, just saying.

I don't see why a masters player should have to copy NA GMs before copying Koreans. From what I hear, NA GMs often do...ah... bad builds, and sorta rely on the randomness of ladder to stay in GM. Since Koreans are still of the species Homo Sapiens Sapiens and "race" is just a social construct based on bad science, there's really no reason why copying the people who seem to win more than everyone else shouldn't be an excellent idea.
Although ladder is still ladder in any country, which means BO randomness is a big factor compared to games where you can know something about your opponent, which is compounded by the whole "barcode" thing, so.... just something to keep in mind I guess, before you put too much stock in what any player is doing on the ladder

What do you do, iff the zerg is pushing with some lings after his expansion is up; or is staying on 2 base and playing a ling all-in?

Try to upload replays of you losing, replays of you winning are kind of.. 'showing off'.

This is a pathetic humblebrag thread. Disgusting.
