Description: If theres a hell, this must be it. Surrounded by lava on an island teeming with deadly fungi and poisonous gas vents. This is the place where nightmares are made.

Shoutout to VIPER for the name.

Overview: A sideways symmetrical map with 2 spawn points. The main is fair sized and vulnerable to harass. The natural is easier to defend and has a narrow choke. Just outside down the ramp is the third base. It is on the low ground and harder to defend, but the offensive ramps are farther away.

The ramp closer to the middle leads to the main base-to-base path. Choked off partially by rocks and over-looked by the lone watch tower players must be weary about using this path. It is the fastest way to travel but you must be paying attention to your army more than usual. To the north of the tower is a special base blocked by rocks with two large ramps. This base features 3 geysers, one being rich vespene, and 4 gold mineral patches replacing 4 regular patches.

Outside of the other ramp is the fourth base which is very close to your opponents, but divided by rocks. The first player to break them is usually the one to make the move. The fourth features a banana hallway with line of sight blockers on each exit for surprise attacks.

Outside the main to the top of the map has ramp leading down to each players fifth base. If you continue down the path it will loop around to there base, on the way is a single base blocked by rocks.

Weirdly enough the far top bases remind me a lot of Outsider with relatively small pathways to get to but great for drops.

I really love the design of this map, but it'll certainly look better in game. The lava in screens always seems overpowering :p

I do like the layout. The bases are well spread but I do feel like there are unneccesary destructible rocks in the center which limit options without real benefits. Also sorry, but this map is pretty ugly. Could def use some texture work.

Yea, the map just feels way too open without it. I'm not changing the texture though everyone else I've played with and showed it love it. Besides, a lava map isn't supposed to look "pretty" lol.

I agree that some (not all) of the rocks should be removed and that the texturing isn't very cosmetically pleasing.
I also like the positions of the 4th (5th?) to the bottom, with the path leading behind each one

Thanks, I spent a ton of time trying to figure out how to make the 4th interesting. Think I nailed it.

i dont like this map aesthetics. i would like to see a map that we have not seen before like with the ocean or something

anyways for gameplay i would never want to go to that corner expansion at all. why is it so narrow lol
