Hello everyone,

I've been working really hard to create this guide about an easy to execute build order in Zerg versus Terran. It is a very well rounded build order that works incredibly good in the current metagame and is the build order that most professionals use.

The guide is in video format. If you are looking for just the build order: Look below. ^^

This is the exact build order that Scarlett uses in most of her Zerg versus Terran games:

General notes:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Dedicate 2 Queens to creep spreading all the time
Don't miss any Queen injects
Try hold Watch Towers at all times
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

9 Overlord
15 Hatchery
16 Spawning pool
17 Overlord

vs Standard T play:
You scout (with overlord) a natural command center going down around 3:10 (1 barracks expand) or it's already finished (CC first).

@Spawning pool: Double Queen

Drone drone drone
25 Overlord

Drone drone drone
Queue up 3rd + 4th Queen

Drone drone drone
5:00 Double Gas Geyser

@100 Gas: Zergling Speed

~6:20 3rd Base

@100 Gas: Double evolution chamber
@250 Gas: +1 Melee +1 Armor upgrades + 3rd + 4th Gas
@100 Gas: Lair + Baneling nest + 5th Queen

!! At this point it becomes very game specific !!

Drone up 3rd Base + Take a macro hatchery + Take 5th + 6th Gas Geyser

@Lair: Baneling Speed + Infestation Pit + 4th Base

Make a few Zerglings to morph in Banelings IF necissary

Pathogen Glands
+2 Melee +2 Armor upgrades

~11:30 Spire + Hive

@Hive: Greater spire +3 Melee +3 Armor + Adrenal Glands

You can read more here: http://lowkotv.com/best-zerg-vs-terran-build-order/

Any questions, suggestions or anything: Post them below and I'll try my best answering every single one of them.

Enjoy and own those Terran scrubs!

you write 5:00 gas geyser. Do you mean double gas at 5:00?

Yep, it's double gas at 5:00. Fixed it now, thanks!

Yeah nice work, the Scarlet vs MKP game was really a showcase of perfect macro since MKP didn't feel like ever attacking.

Good video very clear and well put together. I would watch more of them

Best part is very little redundancy and give you option to read build order while watching.
Don't forget to get everyone you know to play HOTS so this game we love called Starcraft will live on. Every little bit helps. ^^

Very nicely made vid. +1 subscribers.

Tis a shame you're a zerg as I'm playing toss and terran atm. But there is clearly learning to be had. Thanks mate, keep it up. Dig the shorter version you put together.

It's often times pretty hard to find a good replay example, this one was superb because MKP simply didn't do aaaaanything.

I really like this style of build order tutorial. Very much to the point and free of fluff. Nice work!

I hope you have some on Terran :p
I might be the minority on TL, but TL is the minority everywhere else.

Thanks, i play random in masters, and ZvT is my weakest matchup. I learned how to deal with all the terran cheeses and allins as zerg, but the problem i got was with heavy macro games, when the terran spawned marines and tanks, and after 3-4 engagements, my forces would thin while he would pour on. This build is a nice way to get the upper hand latter on, especially if the terran is so passive...

Yeah I guess the biggest reason why you can't keep up with his army is because you didn't make enough drones early on. This build ensures you're going to have plenty to deal with anything that the terran can throw at you at a later part in the game. Also infestors are crucial vs Tank Marine, because it's one of the few ways to truly trade efficient. Another great thing to do is to surround him from all possible angles but you need very good creep spread for that, once again something that is done with this build.

Nice video, I was wondering how you would deal with hellion banshee pressure? The queens will obviously help but with only lings it could get tricky, depending on the number of hellions.
