Is it a lot of work? Yes Is Brood War worth it? Not for me, perhaps for someone else though. Let me ask you this. So you're going to organize leagues/tours or not?

You're the type or person that causes people to want to stop working for BW. I've never heard of anyone who's had to deal with you and be like "oh, kiante is a delight"... Not from Nation Wars, not from anywhere. Bash Bash Bash and never try to do anything that would involve work or a risk.

doesn't change my main point, if bw is just not worth your time, why are you still here trying to whore attention with how you totally would have raised the 38k you promised but didn't bother raising. why go to the bother of trying to get everyone to bow down and give you some love for a tournament you never intended to make.

Because I'm still creating a LAN with a prize pool equal to ISL3? Which stands as the biggest BW event in years... I really don't understand the confusion there, I can't host that if I'm not present on TL. Also, I'm laying down the foundation so that someone can pick up from where this one left off if the tournament is a success. Kiante... Do I have to spell everything out for you?

Hey guys its fine he lied to us cuz he's still doing something right? lol You can shoot the guy for promising more than he can provide and end up with nothing or you can accept that he messed up, however, is still doing more good than most others. Your logic and decision making is so primitive, if man thought like this since the beginning of existence, we'd all be extinct by now.

Not from Nation Wars, not from anywhere. Bash Bash Bash and never try to do anything that would involve work or a risk. Kiante ran the entire ThSL. He made it so that I, as a complete technophobe, just had to join a game and answer a Skype call. The same is true of the Gem League. As someone who has worked with him, I will honestly say that Kiante put in a ton of effort for both the original Gem League and the ThSL. With no expectation of a large audience, he woke up at six in the morning (again, to facilitate my not having to stay up too late). I was a total fucking primadonna and Kiante made everything work as well as he possibly could. Then, as though that weren't enough, I very much made it the running joke of both of those tournaments that, when there was downtime, I would poke fun at Kiante for being boring, raging, antipodean, or having a speech impediment. I've just been watching all of this unfold, and until now I think I've been pretty hands off because the truth is that I don't really know too much about tournaments or their operation. The reason I don't know too much about those things is because I never had to learn... because Kiante handled it all for me. You can sit here and say anything you want, but allow me to be the first to say, whole heartedly, "Kiante is a delight to work with." I'm sure Trozz and Torenhire would say the same thing.

It's unfortunate then that he's not able to be constructive with other major organizers then.

Well, yes, this sorry excuse of a tournament that you're trying to host is obviously not a "top foreigner" tournament, so what makes the host of "Eywa and friends' incoherent circus show" qualified to speak for anyone whose opinions we'd actually care about? "Is Brood War worth it? Not for me, perhaps for someone else though." I sincerely hope you get banned from this site. Since BW is no longer worth it for you, I'm sure you won't be too upset.
