i've once more attained a higher ceiling to my perfect zen.
there's a concept called lightning in a bottle, and there's a concept called perfect zen. if you could market perfect zen then perhaps you could achieve lightning in a bottle. however, it's not always possible to achieve perfect zen. do you doubt yourself?
have you ever made a mistake, and if you have, did you see the mistake? and if you have seen the mistake, did you examine the mistake: recognize and correct it?
could you ever see yourself paying someone to point out (and correct) your mistakes on your behalf? how seriously do you take self-improvement?
i really respect liquid'hero because he worked hard enough that when he makes a mistake, it's clear he is conscious to make this behavior that otherwise could be regarded as an error. why does hero choose to make a mistake? liquid'hero is very confident.
it's not that most people make errors differently. it's just that most people regard some facts to be more like opinions. have you ever been too hard on someone because of their mistakes? what makes their mistakes so distasteful while liquid'hero is so confident in his mistakes.
i'd like to create a diet program called 'life accelerator': that captures this idea: lightning in a bottle.
the way life accelerator works is: you input certain life goals (like parameters), and then 'life accelerator' accelerates your life until you reach your goals. of course if you put in some ridiculous value to start with like:
i want to make $500,000 / yr. and be happily married to a super model wife and i want concubines who are also super models and are always available to me... and i want to smoke weed every day, and i want to eat whatever comes to mind, and i want to drive expensive cars and have multiple houses, and i want the right to have boyfriends, and i want the right to have super model boyfriends on top of my super model concubines (except no touching my boyfriends can't touch my girlfriends)...
if it doesn't work out then you're permitted to update your goals periodically until you find a set of exercises that are right for you. 'life accelerator' promises that not everyone will be a vegetarian within two years; however, if you could win extra 'efficiency' points by being a vegetarian, then you could be a vegetarian. 'life accelerator' will suggest anything that could help you achieve your goal. 'life accelerator' will even try to turn you from your vices: 'life accelerator' incentivizes you to eschew vices that prevent you from achieving your goals. whether you heed the advice of 'life accelerator' is your choice (and could also be your preference).
here's an article of why i am converting to vegetarianism and why i disagree with abortion if some conditions are present
http://www.bbc.co.uk/ethics/abortion/philosophical/future.shtml
of course reading too much philosophy is dangerous. at one point, i thought of this article, and chose not to have children because of my own painful life experiences. and yet the will to reproduce is a very strong force that shapes our lives (people with an untamed desire to reproduce are responsible for rapes and murders). in some ways i'm glad to have had the genetic disadvantages that i had, because it made things easier for me. i could look at women very objectively, had no desire to take advantage of them, and felt perfectly in control of my behavior and choices at all times. not everyone enjoys these instinctive behavioral advantages. it's tough to imagine a lot of crime in a universe full of people like me.
so maybe my life is easier. there are people who behave very much like animals, where i grew up. i hypothesize that such behavior is a function of language or thought (what is permissible and what is regarded erroneous). do you have a superiority complex that prevents you from learning?
is 'right' a unique property? are some choices 'more right' than other choices? in my opinion, there are some facts that are more fact than opinion.
it's this kind of thing that i'd like to market in a new game genre called 'life', a survivor mode game-type. 'life' is very noob friendly and extends even into the competitive levels. some starcraft players are very inspiring, in this regard, like julyzerg. july and his good friend leenok, seem to play every game like it's their first. to them the game seems very important.
hero is not different. i wish he would fix his teeth if he's always gonna be appearing on TV. i prefer his handsome exterior to be complimented with whitened teeth. i think i will get teeth whitening myself to encourage hero to get his teeth whitened. i could watch hero even if he didn't get his teeth whitened; his protoss play is really amazing!
i should be careful not to get my teeth too white though. you've seen some american politicians. there teeth are very white. if your teeth are too white then your teeth do not appear to be real. if you look like a fraud then you are a fraud. therefore, make some mistakes so that players are aware that you are legitimate. hero takes this joke too seriously because his teeth aren't aligned right and it looks like he smokes cigarettes.
there's something about the contrast between his dangerous personality and yet his innocent and also lascivious personality that cause me to doubt him. it's cool how this is reflected in his corroded teeth and yet very enhanced outer beauty. is liquid'hero real or is he the devil? either way it's clear that hero reads style's guide to the game: an interesting piece of literature. is it possible that liquid'hero has gone too far in his quest to achieve his goals? what if there were no avenues available to achieve them? do we know his true back story. when we find out, will we sympathize with hero or even hate ourselves? how far has liquid'hero fallen in the pursuit of his goals? is it his fault or ours? what kind of society would push liquid'hero so far as to corrupt his healthy orientation? liquid'hero works so hard, all day, every day, just to achieve his one dream to be maybe the best just a short time and no matter what after that he will be happy. and yet there is nowhere, nowhere to liquid'hero! he can go nowhere! he is trapped! hero!
the liquid'hero story is a true tragedy. and it's my hope that future generations will not be affected from dangers like those that have befallen liquid'hero. liquid'hero is a true hero and i hope that all heroes will aspire (rasp != wasp) to be much like!
i hope haypro will stop being so dour
i am glad he enjoys his job, though. i too, if i were always losing, would be very sad. haypro once speculated his teammates were very sad. those who did not win more games. however, haypro himself is unphased. he is utterly unphased. and it's a very strong mindset. no matter what happens he is unphased.
this is very good. how unphased are you? how unphased should you be? what is the cost of your being phased? how high should the cost be? some players are constantly anxious or alarmed. maybe those players are too concerned with victory. why are they so concerned with victory? what will happen if they lose? it will be a great tragedy. i hope they are not defeated.
perhaps haypro could help hero take his job less seriously.
'life accelerator' is a complimentary game (in concept). it could be helpful to starcraft players, MMO players, and players of other games also.
