Congratulations to all the participants of 42 Entertainments latest ARG. Last week a suspicious looking map was being hosted on ICCup. Certain hawkeyed players discovered clues hidden within the map and have since been working exhaustively to get to the bottom of the mystery. They set up a wiki to better collaborate and finally, through excellent teamwork, the code has been cracked.
The reward for this achievement is the early release of the latest 3v3 Map. Enjoy! Check the wiki for full details.
(6)Revolver
A 3vs3 player map where allies spawn together under Use Map Settings.
Features: 1. Defeat screen only when you and your allies have all died.
2. Map is greyed out at the start of the game rather than blacked out, so the layout of bases and terrain is visible.
3. Slots for two observers.
4. Mains: 5 Minerals and 3000 Gas Expansions: 6 Minerals

maybe 9 mineral patches in the main would be best? also maybe it needs to be larger but otherwise, the deco is not that bad ^^

Can mains shell other people's mains with siege tanks? as usual, every new map is OP for terran

So this may well be a balance element to make it more even, kinda like how zerg is weak in the bloodbath map

Just realized that since the entrance to the 3 bases' chokes are so close, one player can basically do a siege tank contain of the entire opposing team while the others take the expansions and macro up. Might be OP, idk.
Also, since it's necessary for some locations to have inefficient gas placement, just make it even and give everyone inefficient gas placement - shift the geysers on top (11 and 1 positions) over a couple squares so you need 4 workers for maximum mining.
Other than that, I like it. I’ve made a few tiny/otherwise weird maps of my own, but I’m still deciding which ones are worth posting.

Pretty fun map, probably not a technically "balanced" map but still lots of fun.

I want to 1v1 you on this lol. It looks best for 1v1 since 3v3 is less resources per player than 2v2 on BB.
edit: Note that Kau's proxy hatch 3v3 is especcially devastating as you make the opposing player effectively lose their entire base if they aren't zerg lol.
