The processor I had overclocked a bit (since it's the unlocked version) but turned it back down to normal maybe a year ago.
I've been having some pretty bad crashes as of recently, and I'm wondering what the most likely cause is. No bluescreen, no error messages, just the screen and computer totally locking up, or alternatively the computer shutting itself off. Also, it tends to crash a few times in a row before again running stable for a few days. Tends to happen when doing more resource-intensive things.
Just thinking logically, it seems like some kind of hardware failure? Could it be as simple as my processor just taking a crap?
