Actually the title should really be "Winner Interview" because apparently they only interview one player now unless I'm blind and can't see the other interviews.
SK Telecom T1's Bisu is known for very rarely using unusual in-game strategies. The PvZ strategies he established were not so much unusual but revolutionary, and his PvT and PvP strategies are not centered around the early-game. On the 7th during a match against KT Rolster, the predictable Bisu utilized the Cannon Rush to win easily.
Bisu said that he was shaking while preparing to do this strategy. As he opened his eyes this morning up until he got to the match stadium and as he found out he was playing against a Protoss on Chain Reaction, he couldn't stop shaking. As the time came for Bisu to utilize the planned strategy, he closed his eyes and convinced his heart that he was glad that it was time to be courageous.
Q Thoughts on winning A I'm glad that, for the first time in a long time, I successfully executed an early game strategy. I really worried a lot. When I practiced, I didn't really feel any pressure but as soon as I heard that my match was against a protoss, I really started to worry. So I'm that much happier that I won.
Q You rarely use these early-game strategies [T/N: That manner pylon into 2 gate was like the 5th broodwar VOD I watched] A Best is usually sent out on chain reaction so he was supposed to use this strategy. As the coaching staff approached me with this map, they wondered how I felt about a cannon rush. I thought that as long as it went undetected that it would be fine so I decided to use it. I was nervous from the moment I woke up. As I found out I was faced against a protoss I decided it was time to be brave.[T/N: Pun intended?]
Q This is a strategy that's already been used A I saw the game where Brave used this strategy. Because he built the forge and gateway near the opponents natural, it could have been scouted. So I decided to build a little bit farther from the natural and avoid Wooki's scout.
Q You didn't think that Wooki would scout it? A As I finished the match and sat down on the bench, I heard Wooki tried to scout it. To be honest, if this strategy gets scouted early on, you just have to accept the loss. If the opponent scouts the proxy early on, it can be blocked. As I found out that my opponent today tried and failed to scout the proxy, I figured that luck was on my side today.
Q Your first in wins A I'm upset that I have more losses than Flash and BeSt. With the amount of games I've played, having only 6 wins is quite embarrasing. Being sent out during every match, I could have stacked up my wins. In my situation, the goal is to keep my winrate consistent rather than obtain the most wins title. Since you can't be sent out twice and also because there aren't too many games per round, there are a lot of contestants for the most wins title. At the moment, there's not that much meaning to that title.
Q You're tied with Flash for most wins. Do you have any desire for a head-to-head? A As I prepared for the KT match, I did have a desire for a head-to-head. Flash right now is undefeated and I think he's doing really well. Although some parts of my play need work, I've prepared a lot for a terran match up so I want to meet him in the 3rd round.
Q Your team has held on to first place A I think our team really has a connection to first place. The situation just makes it seem like that. We were dropping down to the middle of the standings and then we met the first place team at the time, CJ, twice and the team threatening to take first place, KT. As we beat those teams and held onto first place, I feel we made it over the hill. From now on, we will try our best to hold on to first place throughout.
Q The teams win/loss is directly proportional to yours. A I have no idea why. Since my teammates are performing excellently, I feel if I just played well, then the team will do well.
Q Anything else you want to say? A As I prepared for a protoss match up, Paralyze and By.Sun helped out a lot. They increased the completeness of the cannon rush. From now on, I will hold on to the most wins.

You're a good player, Bisu, but noone should expect to perform on par with God Young Ho.
I can't speak for others. But as far as Proleague is concerned, at least I expect him to perform better than anyone, man or God. :3
And i hope he bring that kind of performance to this coming OSL too :D
Bisu when he's not slumping is probably equal to Flash in the non-mirrors. Bisu have a slight advantage vZ and Flash have a slight advantage in TvP. What puts them apart is the mirror matchups. Flash dominates TvT, while Bisu's PvP is pretty ordinary. A part of the problem is that PvP is too volatile, so it's hard to dominate, but it doesn't change the fact that Flash is the better player, even in proleague.
Anyway, I'm sad that there's no Hyuk interview. :/
