How yah doin all.
So basically i have been fiddlin around with xsplit broadcaster of late, kinda wanna get into streaming mainly cause its kinda fun to play around with. through the guides i found i was able to set it up rather easily, the only big problem was the RECORDING SOUND OF MY MICROPHONE.
Reading around i found that this was a very frequent problem, and i have managed to find a bit of success, so i though i might share it in case it helps others.
So the ORIGNIAL setup:
Astro A40s connected to the PC using 3.5mm jack into the MIC IN front panel
RESULTS
Quiet as fenk!!
The FIX
an older logitech headset that is connected via USB
RESULT
Perfect!!!
the Answer i hope this means is USB connection.
I dunno why this is the case but i know reading through other forums they all go into the specifics of the settings, all of which i did and had no luck. The only reason why i found this simple fix was because i noticed my webcam Mic was working perfect through xsplit, and it was connected via USB.
Anyways best of luck from this Aussie SC2 scrub
Cheers

**EDIT**
So i was pretty keen to use my astros cause they are much more comfy then the older Logitechs, so i picked up a 3.5mm to USB adapter. And thankfully it worked. WINNER!!
