With Great going to the military, Samsung Khan added Shine to bolster their weak Zerg lineup. Samsung had previously picked up RorO to strengthen their Zerg line, but felt that in order to be competitive the team needed more Zerg players, so they brought in Shine.
Shine had moved into the dorm and is now devoting himself to practice. Shine was distressed that he didn't join a team before, but now, since he joined Samsung, he is passionate about his revival.
T/N: the "posting" is referring to the news about the creation of Team 8 and the drafting of the remaining players. Shine was not on that list.
Interview with Shine: "I will lay down my worries and be reborn."

"I feel really good now that I joined Samsung."
Shine, who was now confirmed to join Samsung Khan, gave a smile that could not be seen from him the past few months. The struggles he had to go through must have been why. As if joining a team for the first time, Shine could not hide the thrill.
Since his passion for the game was bigger than anyone, Shine was hurt big time by the disbanding of his team and the failure to be picked up by a team last time. Getting hurt like that twice, he was pressured by the fact that he might not be able to play anymore.
"To be honest, the players knew about the disbanding of the team way beforehand. We heard it from members of other teams. Last season, when we found out about this, the players could not focus on the games. I was no exception. For a time, I thought about all kinds of things."
Shine couldn't post good results last season because he couldn't focus on practice. When the team disbanded for real, he moved from the practice house to his home and gripped his mouse in determination. He still had hope that he would be able to play in another team.
However, Shine had another trial to go through. He was not picked up by any team during the creation of Team 8. After getting the news by phone, Shine confessed that he just sat down stunned for a while.
"The truth is I had braced myself for this situation since my results last season weren't very good, but when it became reality I was in unbelief. I lost my mind. I was so upset I cried. It was hard thinking that this is how I was going to end."
Going through such a hard time, Shine didn't look back and forth when Samsung extended its offer for him to join. He didn't care about money or anything else. For him, continuing to play was more important.
"I thought it was the end, but now that I got the opportunity to start anew, I can only think about working hard. I have confidence that I will do well."
Fortunately. he was now in the same team with RorO, who started his progaming career with Shine in Wemade. Roro rejoiced when he heard the news that Shine was joining him. Furthermore, he able to adjust thanks to the Samsung players welcoming them with open arms and Odin being very considerate of him. Shine now can just focus on the game.
"Since Roro-hyung sits next to me in practice, I almost never felt that I was in a new team. Plus I cannot describe how good my teammates were to me. Odin-hyung especially was very considerate of me. I think I am a Samsung player already

Shine vowed to silence those who say that the Samsung Zerg line is weak this coming season. If there are 50 matches, Shine wants at least 30 wins and continue the reputable line of Samsung Khan Zergs that was only cut off for a short time.
"My goal is to make the other teams worry about our Zerg line. I will conjure up a typhoon again this season. Please watch and cheer for me."
