KT revealed that Flash will go for surgery for his wrist injury.
Since March, Flash started to complain about the pain in his wrist. After going through several MRI scans, the cause of the pain is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, which can be eliminated through nerve decompression(?) surgery.
For the sake of Flash's wrist injury, KT looked for the best treatment center in Korea and even brought along a personal physiotherapist to Shanghai for the recent canceled SPL Finals.
After returning from China, Flash went to the hospital again to receive treatment. Doctor said if Flash increases his practice time, his pain will increase as well. The best solution for him to get rid of the pain is undergo surgery.
After thinking thoroughly about the suggestion, Flash decided to undergo surgery after SPL Finals and OSL.
Flash said, "There was a period that the pain caused too difficult to pick up a mouse. The team has been giving me support and even though I've been receiving treatment, the pain is still there whenever I play. After considering for quite some time, in order to maintain my career as a progamer, I decided to go for surgery.
It is reported that, it will take about 30 to 40 days to recover after the surgery. Flash will be getting treatment along and will be in his best condition to welcome '11-'12 season.
Flash：Not retiring!
Flash's announcement left people bewildered for he said "We must win for a reason". [SPL Finals] Finally, the answer is revealed.
Many people wonders if Flash going to retire after the finals. On the 12th August, KT told us that,"In order for Flash to continue his career, he will undergo surgery for his wrist."

Flash说 “有段时间痛到很难拿起鼠标。战队给了我积极的支援，虽然我已经在接受治疗，但是在比赛过程中依然有痛症。出于长期的考虑，为了保持更长时间的选手生涯，迎来自己第二第三全盛期，我决定去做手术。”
据悉，手术时间之后需要约30~40日来恢复。Flash会好好接受治疗，以最好的状态迎接11-12赛季。
