Requires a lot less APM, and is arguably much easier. Just sayin... User was warned for this post

I've gotta agree to this, but I believe if anyone has the mental discipline to handle what Flash is going through, it's Flash himself. If I remember correctly almost every progamer has retired after experiencing wrist problems, e.g. iloveoov and ggplay I think? Sometimes, the hardest workout is the one you don't do. All the best to him, I hope this isn't the beginning of his decline though even though I admit I'm sick of seeing him dominate absolutely everyone for the past 2 years.

Hopefully this surgery will fix his carpal tunnel and he can go back to dominating!

You know, it's posts like this that make BW fans dislike SC2 fans. I know you're really into your game, but put yourself in our shoes. Imagine every time there was a thread about a SC2 player you really liked, some random person coming in saying "he should just switch to LoL." Turns out, that's pretty much what happens over here, be it a post game interview or a retirement announcement. I know, here you have a marginally more legit point, since there is at least some chance that the surgery won't take and he won't be able to play BW at a high level any more. At the same time, when a large portion of the BW community has been following this story for months, fretting about whether or not one of the greatest players to ever play the game is going to be forced to retire for medical reasons, it's pretty damn insensitive to come into a thread that has the first good news about him in weeks and suggest he stop playing the game we love. Just sayin...

Since he does have Carpel Tunnel himself. Dario is doing well again without Surgery :-) I suspect there is a lot more BW / SC2 players who have RSI or CTS than publically known. Unless it gets too severe people tend to just ignore it (which isn't smart in hindsight)

But when you see how good he is in his current diminished form, I trust him to come back as strong as ever. He's among the three best strategic mind in bw, and with his competitive spirit, I don't see that changing because of a few months stop. Hope he does win that OSL ! (and that KT wins PL finals, but that's something else^^ ) And lol @ the few (at least they seem less numerous this time) sc2 people hoping for it to have real consequences so that Flash switches... (that's a bit like... egocentric you know ?) Shows how much they respect their scene... Pretty funny when you see the reactions to "The elephant in the room"...
