Complexity sends DongRaeGu, Noblesse to MLG Raleigh
CompLexity announced today that Soo Ho "DongRaeGu" Park and Doh Joon "Noblesse" Chae will be attending Major League Gaming (MLG) Raleigh under the coL.MVP tag later this month. Noblesse takes the place of Min Soo "Genius" Jung as Genius is still active in the Global Starcraft League (GSL) August Code S tournament and is focusing on that competition.
Noblesse qualified for Code S for the first time this season, although he failed to advance from his group, losing to MLG Anaheim champion JongHyeon "MVP" Jeong and GSL Super Tournament champion Sung Hoon "Polt" Choi. His Code S debut was not a complete failure for the MVP Terran; he managed to knock two-time GSL champion Min Chul "MC" Jang to the up-and-down matches.
Like Noblesse, DongRaeGu was eliminated from GSL August. The MVP Zerg lost a close 2-1 match to the Protoss from Team SCV Life, Jin Young "JYP" Park.
Noblesse will brave the Open Bracket, but DongRaeGu earned enough MLG rank points with his 5th place finish at MLG Anaheim to qualify for pool play. The Zerg will battle Paul-David "SLush" Page, Kyung Hyun "SeleCT" Ryoo, Dario "TLO" Wunsch, and Ki Soo "Tester" Seo in Pool C.
The CompLexity and MVP partnership originally only included DongRaeGu and Genius, but the deal was left open ended with the possibility of other players participating. Noblesse is the first such player.
