Hey Ladies!!
Just not quite sure where I would put this, so ill try here... If you've checked out my stream, you may have noticed for the last month I've been playing under a new ID: femFxKaren. If you have participated in the ESL:Iron Lady you may have met Yui the Administrator. Yui(Andrea) and Nemi(Susan) and myself(Karen) started a new girls only team. It's been on the go for almost 2 months now and we are launching our site today officially to the public :o) (Monday August 8th 00:00 Pacific Time)
Whether you are a female Starcraft 2 player looking for others to practice with, share your passion for the best game on the planet, or a Starcraft enthusiast interested in the female SC2 scene, here you will find news and information about fem-Fx members, our activities, videos, streams, tournaments, forums, podcasts and more. Anyone is welcome to come join the team however, you must be willing to follow the two core rules:
1) Be respectful to all players.
2) Show a desire to improve your game play.
Currently Team femFx is comprised of 11 members with a wide skill range and 2 coaches. Our team captain is femFxNavi, well known in the Starcraft community as a talented and ferocious Master’s level zerg player. Our members are: femFxYui (P), femFxNemi (Z), femFxKaren (T), femFxRailin (Z), femFxBOSSLADY (P), femFxSam (P), femFxRogue, femFxWarrden (T), femFxKatiedonut (Z), femFxSquee (Z). Regularly joining in our practice nights to help out with criticisms, advice and maintaining the general entertainment level are Chet (Z) (Masters zerg, who also streams here teamliquid!!) and Douglas (T) as our Team Coaches. The pro team is by invite only.

Sounds exciting. It's always great to see new teams formed, and hopefully all the players will benefit from the increased practice opportunities.

Best of luck in your endeavors. That being said, luck has little to do with anything. I am sure you will do well, and work ferociously at improving your skills - all the while having fun doing it.
I guess women are used to blood, sweat and tears, and those assets are required to make it. Women are better at gaming than being credited for. There are just so few of them professionally. I hope You inspire more to take the leap.
I know my niece bosses any boy she knows in gaming, and she has for years. She even bosses me with 30+ experience in gaming. But then again - I am old and slow.
