So I'm a platinum(barely) protoss player and I won a game vs a mediocre zerg. He had bad micro, but whatever. If anyone can look at this replay and tell me what i could do to improve the opener, and the mid-late game that would be great! I know that i got some of my buildings too late/early, but if you guys could give me a timeline as to when I should get them, it would be great! thanks guys!

Constructive criticism is needed, I would really like to better myself so I can post some REAL replays, not this silly display of a fail forge fe build that actually worked.

Here a good amount of information about FFE. I did this on Scrap for a friend last night, but it has some useful information about when to put the forge down and such. You can also just copy my overall build and gameplan and be very successful against your Platinum league opponents.

Cecil: you give great advice, but why Scrap Station? That's a pretty odd map to choose since most people veto it, I'd have loved to see something like Shakuras/Tal'Darim or Xel'Naga/Metalopolis etc.

Because my friend wanted scrap specifically, why? Who knows....

I'm considering starting up a youtube channel to post various videos and how-tos for SC2 strategies (and perhaps casting as well), would this be something interesting to you?

Yes Cecil, YES!! I'm a little bit of a metagame whore, and would love someone to take the new pro builds (for example MC's 1gate expand -> stargate) and give insight as to why they do the things they do. Someone to clarity the subtleties that a player of my caliber might not realize at first.

YEAH that would be awesome and incredibly helpful. I'd love to see how to perfectly execute a 6 gate to make it hit before hydras and infestors pop. And the forge FE thing is helpful too btw lol.
