Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: The Banelisk!

Now, one might wonder what attributes the Banelisk might possess:
First and foremost, in addition to a regular attack, the Banelisk is able to explode. This explosion is somewhat like a cross between a nuclear missile and fungal growth, but has a larger area of effect.
The Banelisk can be burrowed, allowing it to one-shot any unsuspecting army passing over it.
The Banelisk can hit air units.
In order to construct the Banelisk, one must place a baneling nest on top of an ultralisk cavern. The Banelisk is then morphed from a regular ultralisk.
The morphing animation of the Banelisk is the size of a hatchery.
The Banelisk explosion is subject to friendly fire, which means that a viable tactic against it is to snipe it next to friendly units. However, you won't need any other units if you already possess the Banelisk.
The Banelisk benefits from the centrifugal hooks upgrade, adapting a rolling animation. It also benefits from the metabolic boost upgrade, adapting wings. However, it does not receive any of the bonuses to movement speed from said upgrades.
In order to drop the Banelisk it has to be carried hanging between four overlords.
If the Banelisk is loaded into a nydus worm, the nydus worm will be full. The Banelisk can be detonated inside a nydus worm, splitting the effect of the explosion between all entrances.
The Banelisk generates its own creep highway.
When microed well, the Banelisk can be devastating. When microed poorly, the Banelisk can be equally devastating.
Further, one might be curious as to why this unit is being implemented, and why it wasn't in the game from launch.
After all, this unit seems so obvious I can't imagine that it wasn't thought about from the beginning of development.
While we can only speculate as to why it has taken so long for the Banelisk to be implemented, I think we can all agree that this unit is what the game has been missing up until now.
I don't want this to turn into a balance discussion, since the Banelisk obviously will solve any and all balance issues, imaginary ones included, even in matchups not containing any zerg player. Indeed, focusing the metagame on one unit is the way to go!
With our greatest desires fulfilled in such a way, we can only dream of what more the future will have in store!
