STX Terran Bogus is on fire. The leading player to rescue STX from the recent losing streak was neither Calm nor Kal; it was Bogus. In the previous match, Bogus sealed the victory for STX against Woongjin, and in this match against Hite, he lead the way with 3 kills. His record now largely overshadows Calm's and Kal's, and he has now taken the throne of the STX ace player. His rise can only continue as he continues his dominance in SWL.
Q: You lead the way with 3 kills. Thoughts?
A: I surprised myself with the 3 kills because it wasn't on my radar to begin with. It's the first time I've accumulated so many wins in SWL. I suppose it's just the fruit of hard labour (practice) and solid fundamentals.
Q: By fundamentals, do you mean that you haven't played exceptionally well in your own standards?
A: Today, all my games were similar to practice games. Once I got warmed up and fingers loosened, everything went smoothly. Last season, I felt that my fundamental skills were lacking, so I worked hard in the off-season to strengthen that part.
Q: You played against Hite's ace, Hydra, in the 3rd set.
A: Playing TvZ on Empire of the Sun is not a menial task by any means, and I couldn't quite pin down on a strategy I wanted to use. I played with full confidence nonetheless, and I think that lead to my win.
Q: In that same game, you grasped all the fine aspects and kept it under your control.
A: My opponent didn't upgrade zergling movement speed nor did he go for fast tech, so I guessed that he went for overlord drop upgrade. Scouting persistently was the key there.
Q: You came from behind in the set against Snow.
A: He played very aggressively from the onset and put me behind early. Again, I scouted and checked his strategy, and then I went for a timing push. Luckily for me, his reaver didn't do anything useful and died, so my timing push was successful.
Q: You're leading your team in number of wins. Based solely on that, you're the team's ace!
A: I had a good start [T/N: unclear whether he means start of the season, start of SWL, or start of each game] so the games are unfolding pretty smoothly. Also, I'm doing really well in SWL so far, but that doesn't surprise me. Now that I think of it, I think it's the rightful result of all the hard work I've put in so far. I don't think I'm the team's ace yet, but if I continue playing as well as I am right now, perhaps I will truly deserve the title in the near future (laughs). Again I emphasize, I am not worthy of the "ace" title yet.
Q: You shattered the weak image of STX Terran.
A: Our Terran players are playing well in SWL so I don't think people will associate us with weakness anymore. After we acquired Coach

Q: Any last words?
A: I'm very happy about the unexpected 3-kill today. Thanks to my practice partners! I will keep my pace up, never let my guard down, and achieve 20 kills in the SWL (SPL R3 and R4).
