Hey there, TeamLiquid! This announcement goes out to all the European Starcraft II players out there. With the announcement of the North American Starcraft II roster within Crack Clan, we've decided to open our doors to Europeans through the means of a tournament!
[ Tournament Format + Information ] + Show Spoiler +
We hope to reach out and help bring light to the unknown talent out there and help them thrive to the top!
This event will also be casted/streamed by RageQUIT.TV on Day 2 from the Quarter Finals on!
If you're interested here is how to sign-up!
Going to https://binarybeast.com/xSC21011124/participants, after registering an account on BinaryBeast, you can click on "JOIN THIS TOURNAMENT" to sign-up for the tournament where the brackets will then be seeded randomly and released prior to 1PM GMT (YOUR OPPONENT WILL HAVE 15 MINUTES AFTER 1PM TO SHOW UP AND GET IN CONTACT WITH YOU, IF NOT, THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED).
Be sure to sign up as your USERNAME.###, and be sure to register an account and do "Join This Tournament" so your name is highlighted Yellow/Orange so you can report your own matches. If you have an issue with report matches, go on IRC and report them to cc\\SC2keK.
If any issues occur, be sure to contact an admin (dox, keK, or any member with cc\\SC2tags) on mIRC on irc.quakenet.org in #CrackClan
[ Tournament Rules ] + Show Spoiler +
The rules are pretty simple. - If a drop occurs before the clock reaches the 5 minute mark, a RM(Remake) is allowed. If past the 5 minute mark, it’s up to your opponent to allow it. - No use of 3rd party programs that would give yourself an advantage that normal players wouldn’t have - Spectators are allowed but MUST be agreed by both players - Casters/Streamers have the right to be in the matches unless consistent lag problems that bring issues to the game. - Ask your opponent or let them know you’re pausing, as well when you unpause - Any harassment or insults between games is not allowed. You will forfeit the rest of your matches
[ Brackets from Quarter Finals and On ] + Show Spoiler +
Brackets above will be updated starting on Day 2 of the event.

Hopefully get all the baller EU players coming out for this. Goodluck to everyone participating!

RageQuit.TV will be casting the event on December 19th, covering the Quarter Finals to the Grand Finals
|
I think the prize money will make people that have no intention to leave their current team to show up.
|
Well if that happens, that would be very unfortunate but knowing the SC2 community compared to most, I'm hoping that the community will be honest about it and only people who are looking for a team will sign up.
|
GL HF all, hope you guys get some new EU blood

I hope you are right but that's the same money as a normal craftcup.

This is true, but last time I check, CraftCup doesn't have a chance for the top 10 people to get LAN support and be part of a gaming organization ^_^

Yes i am signed up hope i do well ^^ zerg fightingggg just hope i get paired with some good players so i can show off some skillz :D
CRACK CLAN FIGHTINGGGG

i think you should point out in op what the players will get if they make it to the roster ^_^ gl tho

Well, I'll tell you guys this much.
Crack Clan has been around since 1998 and in that time, we've sent teams across the globe and have done well over 40,000 kilometers in travel, going for events such as KODE5, Intel Extreme Masters, Dreamhack, EMS, WCG, ESWC, iSERIES you name it, we've probably been there with teams in Counter-Strike 1.6/Source, TF2, Halo3, QuakeLIVE and more.
We've never gotten into the RTS scene for some reason though. With the success so far that our current SC2 roster is having in North America online and hopefully soon in LANs, we decided we'll take our chances in EU.
So think about what I said and possibly check up on Crack Clan's history and you'll know what we're capable of ^_^

|
I thought you were a finnish team sinec you had a succesful finnish CS 1.6 team at one time...
|
Our CS1.6 and TF2 team were both Finnish but the organization first started out as Canada/US and has always been-just so happened that we picked up a good amount of finns ^^
|
its starts in one hour right?
