Team Think Quick (tQ) presents the first tourney in the tQ Live Tourney series in Richmond, BC, Canada sponsored by eSPOT Billiards & Arcade.

Registration for the first tQ Live Tournament has ended and we have received enough participants to reach our player cap of 32. Despite the 32 player cap, we still would like to invite everyone to come and check out the event. Further interested players may come and sign up in person to be placed on a back up list to replace no-shows. Thanks for the support.

Where: eSPOT Billiards & Arcades, Richmond, BC
Suite 160 7951 Alderbridge Way Richmond , BC , V6X2A4
Time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm (Doors Open at 11:00am)
Entry Fee:$15 at the door ($10 to total prize pool)
Prize: May vary based upon number of participants
Example:
# of Participants x $10
16 Participants = $160
32 Participants = $320

How to Register: If you're interested in participating in our StarCraft II tournament, reply to this thread with your SC2 name & character code.

Tournament Format: Double Elimination
Winners Bracket: Best Out Of 3 (Semi-Finals & Finals: Best Out Of 5)
Losers Bracket: Best Out Of 1

Facilities Include: Food, Games and Washrooms

Additional Information:
High-end equipment provided. Bring your own mouse and headset permitted.
All proceeds go towards prize pool and venue; no profits being made.
Final matches will be cast and streamed live.

Map Pool & Info:
The brackets will be posted on the day of the tournament. First map is pre-determined by event organizers; losers chooses next map.

Correct. Doors open at 11a.m. so players can get an extra hour to warm up by playing a few games, or set up their own equipment (if they deem it necessary) and get ready for the tournament which should commence at around 12 p.m.

Also keep in mind that you're paying (5$) for 8 hours of SC2 gaming time at our cafe so make good use of it by showing up at 11a.m. and staying until 7p.m. There's also a huge billiards and arcades section in our gaming facilities in case you ever feel like you need a break from playing computer games.

We've had around 14 people sign up so far so we're definitely looking to register more players for this event. Fall semester should be over by then so it is a good way to celebrate the end of exams and the beginning of the holidays, which for most of us will mean, more time to play SC2!
