Correct. Doors open at 11a.m. so players can get an extra hour to warm up by playing a few games, or set up their own equipment (if they deem it necessary) and get ready for the tournament which should commence at around 12 p.m.
Also keep in mind that you're paying (5$) for 8 hours of SC2 gaming time at our cafe so make good use of it by showing up at 11a.m. and staying until 7p.m. There's also a huge billiards and arcades section in our gaming facilities in case you ever feel like you need a break from playing computer games.
We've had around 14 people sign up so far so we're definitely looking to register more players for this event. Fall semester should be over by then so it is a good way to celebrate the end of exams and the beginning of the holidays, which for most of us will mean, more time to play SC2!
I know this isn't entirely important, but you may want to change "Time: 12:00am - 6:00pm (Doors Open at 11:00am)" to 12:00 P.M. Was just bored and came across that .

Thanks, I'll notify Prima about it. Note that players are entitled to 8 hours of gaming time, so doors open at 11 a.m. and you may play games in the computer section until 7 p.m.
Also, please remember to bring in cash, debit and credit cards are not accepted. There is an ATM at eSPOT but you will be charged a small service fee so in order to avoid that bring in dollar bills yall! This event is licensed by Blizzard Entertainment.
And if anyone is in need of directions (whether by car, sky train or bus) check out google map (directions) or please feel free to contact us (teamthinkquick@gmail.com) and we'll happily help you out and show you the way.

No food or drinks allowed btw, you can purchase food and drinks at the snack bar if you need to.

Yeah Ill see what we can do about that. Thanks for the suggestion.

i doubt it since the projection is where the computers are at
hey just a question for people who have attended lan tournies in the past and this one. Do people bring their own headset/mice/keyboard or they use the ones that are provided?
The fact that we're getting 8 hours of PC time makes this all a sweet deal! I don't even care if I end up getting roflstomped. It'll still be a nice change of pace for me, considering I get my sc2 in on a lackluster laptop :/
That LAN... was awesome. A pleasure to cast. Thank you players! Thank you to Atticus for casting with me, and tQox for running the whole thing on site and communicating with me the entire game. This was amazing. VODs will be posted on youtube.com/zanderfeverSC
Very fun LAN. I actually did better than I thought I would. Thanks tQ for setting up his tourney. Lol was pretty sure i was gonna get 2-0 in both the winners and losers bracket.

It'd have been nice to follow along periodically throughout the day without having to watch the stream and wait for any vocal updates -- I couldn't even run the stream properly anyway due to net problems. Next time post a link to the brackets in the OP!
Regardless, good to hear it went well Hopefully there will be more, as I'm always up for local events. My time to compete is long passed due, anyway
Thanks to everyone who showed up. The whole thing ran pretty smoothly considering we were missing at least 10 players, however we made the best out of it in the end. A big thanks goes out to tQZander and tQAtticus for streaming and casting several matches (24 to be exact) throughout the whole tournament and tQDanTe for helping out too. We had a lot of fun hosting this tournament and promoting eSPORTS. We will definitely host another tQ LIVE tourney soon so stay tuned for any updates.
Anyways, here's some pictures from the LAN earlier today. Enjoy!
