I feel pretty bad for Jaedong, he's been 2nd to Flash all year and now he's 3rd, even though he'd probably beat Kal if the brackets were different.

Interesting to hear that he intends to switch to SC2. I hope it takes a couple of years though, or else there will be no threat whatsoever for Flash.

But at what point is it popular enough to switch to? It seems to be gaining popularity pretty quickly as it is...
Besides, whatever Jaedong plays is going to be popular, period. I really don't think he has to worry about SC2 catching on if he were to switch over.

Jaedong follows cs and doesn't like w3? For some reason I expected it would be the other way around.
Anyway don't worry JD, your fans are with you, whether you 4pool or expand to a questionable location. I am really looking forward to the next Proleague season.

Q: What's your take on the future of BW and will you switch to SC2?
A: I will definitely switch to SC2 because I feel it will reach a higher status than BW. There will also be more international tournaments in SC2, which makes the transition natural as I want to reach out to a bigger audience.
There could of course be some info lost in translation from korean, but hopefully we'll see jaedong in sc2 soon 
Edit: They added an english translation which says "when its bigger than BW", but if that's the correct translation then the original one is...weak.

Awesome Jaedong! I'm glad he's not losing hope. I would feel totally crushed beaten by the same person over and over. And I'm glad he's not cheesing this time.
Maybe next time, he'll bring back the zerg glory.

Even if it's not saying he's going right now, the fact that _Jaedong_ publicly stated he's open to the idea of switching is crazy.

The translation is a little bit updated. We are sorry for some confusion and misleading information. We're covering all the games at WCG and therefore on a final day like this it get's a little bit hectic. It was suppose to say "as I feel" and not "when I feel". We are also sorry about the mistranslation abotu the biggest news item in the interview that Jaedong will be switch to Starcraft 2 eventually. Hope you liked it anyway, cheers.
