Not really at all in my opinion. Everyone in the CS scene lost when they left and came back. They came back to 1.6, but the entire scene is not even close to the greatness it once was in my opinion :/.

its so good to seed jd looking very healthy or perhaps its just the lighting

Hm what is there even impressive for a player like JD to be doing in SC2? Waste of talent imo. No amazing muta micro, no ling/lurker, no swarms.... what's he going to do instead? Do some kiting with roaches? zzzzzzz

I hope they/he won't switch yet. I love watching their bw games ^^ Jaedong playing cs :O didn't know that. Very cool as I also love that game!

If he's planning to switch to SC2, is his plan to do that before or after his military service? That's what, 2.5 years of service minimum? That'll be a sad day for me when he enters the military .

He has two more years on his contract after which he'll probably have to enter army. I seriously doubt he wld break his contract to play SC2 so the earliest you're looking at is 2015.

don`t know if I should be happy or sad about his statement to switch games. on the one hand I would love to see a sick zergbeast in sc2, but on the other I would miss his defilers and lurkers. : / <3 jaedong!

As I clearly said, the only way that happens is if he breaks his current contract with Oz. Otherwise, no earlier than 2015 because of military service.

zomg Jaedong to SC2.. <3
That would kill SC for me which saddnes me, but I guess it's inevitable. Once we see these big name BWA players transfer over to SC2 shit will hit the fan.. :D

Yeah, CS is not the scene you want BW to be like right now, because it never really recovered from the split.

Jaedong: "my fans went bananas."
Best quote I've seen in quite awhile.
Or, to do it all internet style...
Jaedong: "my fans went bananas."
Jaedong: "my fans bananas."
Jaedong: "fans bananas."
Jaedong: "bananas"

If JD switches to SC2 we'll get to watch the world's most amazing attacking player turn into a boring defensive Zerg who spends all game managing his creep spread and holding off banshee/reaper/medivac/hellion harass until the mid-late game when the SC2 designers think he is allowed to go on the attack.
|
Then maybe he should play terran or protoss?
And you cant compare what happened with CS and CS:S with BW and sc2. Apples and oranges. Even at its peak CS:S probably wasnt more popular than 1.6 at the same time. Unlike between bw and sc2, one was clearly superior and it wasnt merely an opinion matter. But at the same time CS1.6 & Source is why I advocate the "death" of BW. BW and SC2 cant coexist. Coexisting would hurt both. It either a great sc2 scene or a mediocre coexistence. In either case bw wont be the same.
People saying that cant change for 2 years + likely military service dont realize that Hwaseung can and will release Jaedong of the contract if bw scene cant make the team profitable. Another option is that Hwaseung Oz swicthes to SC2 and his contract will continue but now instead of bw he is playing Sc2. In any case, I dont think he will be switching just yet...

They should make an air force SC2 team.
