Q: Your thoughts on making the semis?
A: Coming so far to Haeundae Beach for RO8 is the first time. Because I won the first match, I played really relaxed today. Tomorrow's MSL final is very important, but I want to win this OSL, so todays match was also very important, I'm very happy to have won the match.
Q: How did you distribute the practice time?
A: I mostly practiced for the MSL, almost 90 % of the time. ZvZ is the match up I have the greatest confidence in, so I thought I cannot lose today. For the MSL final I practiced each map for a very long time.
Q: You reached a 8 win streak in ZvZ in the OSL.
A: Its similar in other leagues, I'm not sure why but the ZvZs in the OSL are going especially smooth. I feel its because I'm more skilled that the others. Also I'm very confident, so it makes others feel I cant lose in ZvZ.
Q: You're one stop closer to your fourth OSL title.
A: For me the opponent is not important. I always practice to be in the finals.
Q: You have the MSL final tomorrow, how do you get the right mindset?
A: Lately my life routine has been all messed up, so I'm going to sleep now. Tomorrow I'll do a short warm up and then go to the finals.

Q: After 5 seasons, you finally returned to the RO4 of OSL.
A: I'm very happy to make it to the RO4, but I'm more worried that my opponent is Jaedong.
Q: Jaedong has the MSL finals tomorow, so you should have the advantage of pratice time.
A: The pratice times should be similar, also playing matches helps to maintain the game feeling, so I dont think I have an advantage
Q: Your results at matches abroad are always very good, so are you also anticipating this OSL final?
A: If I can make it to the finals I will be very happy, but the semis are played in Yongsan (T/N thanks kassi), so there is no abroad factor. Playing good games at the semis is more important.
Q: Do you have confidence in your match with Jaedong?
A: I havent played a BO5 against Jaedong since the EVER 2007 OSL finals. BO5 makes me feel a lot of pressure, but my recent practice results in PvZ have been quite good, so that gave me some confidence. During practice, I wont think that my opponent will be Jaedong, but rather just a PvZ, this should improve my chances.
Q: It will be fall soon, are you confident in continuing the Legend of the Fall?
A: There are only 2 protoss left. But I wont go easy on free, if I make it to the finals it will the first time for 2 years. I really long for being in the finals.
Q: Any final remarks?
A: In last interview I mentioned some malicious messages, but those have only gotten worse. I'm thinking of going to the police, I hope from now on everbody can hold it back somewhat.

Q: Your thoughts on reaching the semis for the third time in the row?
A: I'm very happy to reach the semis, and I will strive to go to Shanghai.
Q: How did you practice?
A: I was very worried in the beginning that I did not have enough time to practice for the match with Jaedong tomorrow, but I finished it yesterday. All thats left is the match itself.
Q: The first match a couple days ago was very difficult.
A: Although it was very difficult, I still won, so I did not have much pressure today.
Q: Will there also be a Lee-Ssang Rok in the OSL finals?
A: I wont set a rule for me to be in the finals every time, I mostly think about the next opponent. Thats why I cant give a definite a definite answer, but I think it is very probable.
Q: free has not lost a game in the OSL, do you think you can end his streak?
A: His win streak will end in the first match of the semis. If I can stop his streak, I'm confident I can easily win.
Q: How did you prepare for the MSL finals?
A: It was all very unclear till yesterday morning. I almost had no time for rest this week, I was practicing all day long. But I'm very lucky I finished yesterday evening with my preparations.
Q: What are your thoughts on tomorrow?
A: I don't have a lot of pressure. Because my opponent is Jaedong, I will play with a mindset of a challenger.
Q: Any final remarks?
A: Tomorrow is an important match, I hope many spectators will come. The last Lee-Ssang Roks didn't went very well, I hope we can play very exciting games.

Q: Your thoughts on advancing to the Ro4?
A: This being the first time I made it into the OSL I was already very happy, so reaching the semis has made me that much happier. I’m embarrassed that despite my experience, reaching the OSL Ro4 is my best result yet. I’m happy though.
Q: You beat your teammate Zero.
A: Because my opponent was a teammate, practice was very inconvenient. I suspect Zero’s taken a pretty serious blow from this, so when I get back I’ll help him get back on his feet.
Q: In your first OSL run, you’ve won every game, do you have a secret?
A: Before, I expressed the desire to go undefeated in OSL, so in order to fulfill this commitment, I have been working very hard. Even though this is my first OSL run, I have been diligent in practice. In addition, the only individual league I need to prepare for is the OSL, but even if this weren’t the case, I would still be working extremely hard. Today’s games have demonstrated that my hard work did not go to waste.
Q: How are you going to console Zero?
A: I don’t think Zero will listen, so rather than talking to him, I’ll take action to support him.
Q: You’ll play the winner of Flash (turtling cult leader) and Leta (tower toppler). [T/N I’m not sure if I have these nicknames correct]
A: I went to bed at 2:00 AM yesterday, but at 4:00 I still hadn’t fallen asleep. It’s possible I was too nervous. As I lay there, I was pondering what I would say in my winner’s interview if I advanced, how it would be good if I won again, etc. Flash and Leta are both outstanding gamers, so I’ve already prepared to face them. Even though I was destroyed 3-0 by Flash in the MSL, if I have another chance to face him I’ll surely show a better series.
Q: Any final remarks?
A: During practice, my teammates helped a lot, especially Soulkey and Crazy-Hydra riled me up while practicing with me every step of the way. Many thanks to them.
