Why is incineration zone one of the listed maps to be used in the tournament...
What about xel naga caverns and delta quadrant?
Why?

I left incineration zone on the list cause it was a map that I miss from the Beta and I wanted to see if anyone else would choose to play on that map.

Xel Naga caverns, looks like I just over looked it. I'll add it to the list thanks for pointing that out.

Delta quadrant, was left out for more of personal reasons. I don't like how "guarded" the expansion is and I felt that would lead to longer turtle games, but if the public does want delta quadrant I will add it as well.

Thanks for pointing out Xel naga caverns though I appreciate it.

@Quake- just like Whiteshadow said, its not whether or not you'll get crushed, but its whether or not you have a fun time with others who enjoy playing the game also. and who knows maybe you'll be the underdog who pulls out some amazing victories. Its all up to you.

@CharlieMurphy- I play Zerg and I enjoy that map. I have found a few little tricks to it for Zerg and I enjoy it. during my time in beta I never really found a Terran who abused the map, but then again maybe I didn't play very creative Terran during beta. if enough people request its taken out I will do so.

@Whiteshadow- it's $75 for 1st and an extra $5 for every person over 7. We are not doing this for profit, but I have put in some of my own money for this (computer rentals, trophy, dog tags, cash prize, etc) I am just looking to get the money back that I spent. After the math, following that model will give me back a return. Now this being said if only 3 people show up all the prizes will still be as stated I will not lower them to make sure I get my money back, I will eat the loss.

@Psyonic_Reaver- Yes you can feel free to bring your own computer if your more comfortable playing on it, were just offering the convenience of the rented comps for those who didn't want to have to bring theirs.

Yeah I am still actively promoting, but any friends that you may know feel free to show them the thread and get their interest in it.

I actually have been in contact with GameStop and hopefully I can get them to allow me to post fliers in their store. I am also in contact with some other people outside TL.net, so we can hopefully expect a lot more as the tournament draws closer. I noticed the thread for the other AZ tourney has been open for about a month and they have about 12 attending so far, so I think 6 in just about a week is pretty good.

P.S.
I am picking up the trophy today after work, so I will be uploading images of it here in about 2 hours. I hope you all like it

I will be there along with 4 or 5 other people from work who play the game quite often, I will have them contact you with registration information...most are platinum or diamond players. Will you have ample space if we bring our own computer? My setup is a bit large compared to most lan center setups.
