Sanctions were brought upon by themselves, tbh. I can't say we had a true purpose there for the war, but without us being there who would know if anything starcraft related would exist if we didn't intervene?

Come on now, at least put some effort into your posts (or your education). If you compare him to any past dictator, he's much more in the vein of Stalin.

The sanctions wouldn't have cost many lives if North Korean leadership didn't think that military strength & state controlled economy was more important than economic prosperity and international trade.
Surely Sfydjkim isn't suggesting that the sanctions against North Korea, and therefore the United States, are responsible for the terrible terrible damage done to the Korean people by Kim's government.

Yeah, I initially was going to write Stalin since they do have alot in common, but Kim Jong-Il's military policy makes me think Hitler pre-WW2. Ultimately its apples and oranges comparing any of the three, and it was intended to be inflammatory/funny rather than a serious scholarly comparison lol. The whole declaring himself "Supreme leader" thing also makes me think Hitler more than Stalin for some reason.

they can ask for anything- doesn't mean we have to give them anything
