User was temp banned for this post. I don't understand why this user got temp banned? What if he's from North Korea? Isn't this racist by whoever issued the temp ban? Anyway, this does sound a bit ridiculous, in my opinion. It's a stupid meme or macro image if I remember correctly.

Civilians don't have access to the internet in North Korea.

kim jong il trying to get money from the world again by doing his irritating shenanigans.

This claim is both logical and rightful. I am so tired of people talking down on my country when they have no idea what they are talking about. If anything I would say this claim is a bit low considering how long the blockade has hindered the economy to fully blossom in it's might and honor of the great leader.

At first i thought maybe this was a troll, after looking at it i'm sure kims trying to do the worlds biggest troll for teh luz if not then wtf .........

Yeah, I also wondered if he is a troll, but looking through his posting history he has been pretty consistent with statements like this. So either he doesn't grow tired of the same "joke" used over and over again or he is one of the dozen lucky people in N.K. that have internet access and are not starving.

So how are things in N. Korea? I would like to hear some opinions from you. What can you tell us about the claims of poverty, starving, isolation, propaganda, brainwashing, censorship and extremely bad economic condition in general ? Are the things so bad there or not?

lol your country's a joke and your leader is so far out of touch with reality, I don't know how you can say he's great or has any honor whatsoever, he's a coward and he's afraid of the world.
It must suck to know your cousins to the south are prospering and living in the real world. I really do feel bad for the North Korean people, its a crime that they've had to live like this their entire lives just because Kim Jong is sooooooo fking messed up and unreasonable.

I actually liked the obvious and funny sarcasm in this post, but medieval moderation wins as always.

I saw the thread title and imagined it as "North Korea seeks $75 trillion from world for NKOREA is awesome tax"

lol, allies only demanded 400billion 2005$ after WW1.
70 trillion, that's only the entire worlds gdp.

I wonder if you even clicked the spoiler.
They're NOT the weakest military country. Sanctions are design to punish a country for outrageous behavior. WHATEVER the country does in response is the countries FAULT, not others (that not to say North Korea behavior towards it's own population is a guilt game..). Trying to somehow put the blame on the UN (NOT THE US, I don't know why some people are picking that country out when the UN has to agree on sanctions, and guess what that INCLUDES CHINA).
Some countries have taken a lesson from WW2 in that you don't appease a rouge nation, into letting it do anything it wants.
Kim Jong-il has destroyed almost every opportunity to help the population, he doesn't care. It cannot be exaggerated on how that government has treated and brainwashed their own population.
Oh by the way, China a communist Nation and shows disapproval of North Korean actions, but its not like that government wants a exodus of North Koreans coming in.
In any event North Korean actions are all a game for them.

Please enlighten us with sources and stronger claims. I respect you as a North Korean, but your leader sure doesn't seem as respectable, when he's asking for 75$ trillion? Really?

I'm interested in the US official response to this. No word yet?

This is an insane demand from North Korea, it's not like they had any interest in trading with other nations anyway so the sanctions are pretty much a formality because they have no money to do business and (almost) no other countries are willing to do business there. If they're gonna be mad they should be mad at Russia for setting them up with communism and royally screwing them over these past 60 odd years -_-
