N. Korea is like a little kid. Cries foul and threatens. Everyone sighs and facepalms and gives a little. N. Korea shuts up and goes back into a shell. Repeat this process every couple months/years.

In my opinion they do actually have a legitimate claim. So do the Cubans. American foreign policy is a bunch of bullshit.
But of course giving them the money would be ridiculous and impossible.

same thing as with iran, only thing they did wrong (...) against america probably was not accepting the dollar as the worlds main currency

but still getting money from the worlds poorest country is impossible

Great...another temporary North korea crisis. Wait for them to launch a missle over Tokyo or something like that then we give them some rescource so they won't try anything stupid. Happens every year, and it will happen every year until we decide to do terrible terrible damage to them.

Anyone see the episode of "Colbert Report" where he addresses this issue? I found it very funny that he said "I will give you the money if you come here to America and come on my show to get it."
Of course he was joking, but i believe that even if he was serious (and had the money) Kim Jong Il would never do so...
