Q: How do you feel about ending your team’s losing streak?
A: I’m glad that we ended our losing streak. I’m satisfied.
Q: You played against
freeA: I’ve always heard that Free was good battles but I didn’t think that he would be a “god” like fans say he is. However today, I realized that it suits him really well. He’s really good at battling. If the game had been played a little longer, I could have lost.
Q: You seem really surprised
A: I am really surprised. He didn’t seem like a human.
Q: You seem to be getting better recently
A: I’m getting a lot of strength lately so I’m doing well. I haven’t been doing well so I thought I should at least struggle until the end, but it’s working out better than I normally would play. That’s why I use the term “struggle”.
Q: People say Hite Protoss is as weak as Hwaseung Protoss
A: I feel closer to Hwaseung Protoss because of that. Whenever I watch them play, I end up cheering for them (laughs). I hope we both do well.
Q: You will probably need to work hard for your team’s records
A: It would be good if the results show the efforts, but I think it’s too hard. Although hard work is necessary, it’s also important to look at the results themselves.
Q:
Leta achieved 100 wins in ProleagueA: During every match, Leta leads us well as the captain. I can play diligently thanks to Leta and he is a respectable member. However, in the team house, he’s very indecisive. Everyone in the team seems like a captain (laughs). However, because Leta is working hard and because we’re helping him, I believe that he can become the best team captain.
Q: Anything else?
A: I thank my coaches and my teammates for helping me practice. During the ace match, I pulled Leta’s seat as a performance, but my manager seemed really confused. I’ll always try my best to earn his trust.

- 팀 연패를 끊은 소감은
▲ 팀 연패를 끊어서 기분 좋다. 만족스럽다.
- 윤용태와 경기했는데
▲ 지금까지 윤용태 선수가 전투를 잘한다는 소리를 많이 들었지만 팬들이 말하는 것처럼 ‘신’은 아닐 거라고 생각했는데 오늘 경기하면서 정말 잘 지은 별명이라는 생각이 들었다. 정말 전투를 잘하시더라. 경기가 더 오래 진행됐다면 내가 패했을 수도 있다.
- 많이 놀란 것 같다.
▲ 정말 많이 놀랐다. 마치 사람이 아닌 것 같았다.
- 최근 기세가 살아나는 느낌이다.
▲ 요즘 힘이 샘솟아서 ‘바둥바둥’ 잘 하고 있는 것 같다. 최근 너무 못해서 발악이라도 해보자는 생각으로 열심히 하고 있는데 생각보다 성적이 잘 나오고 있다. 그래서 ‘바둥바둥’이라는 표현을 쓴 것이다.
- 화승 프로토스와 함께 가장 약한 프로토스 라인으로 평가 받고 있다.
▲ 화승 프로토스에게 동료애가 느껴지고 있다. 왠지 경기를 보고 있으면 응원하게 되더라(웃음). 둘 다 같이 잘했으면 좋겠다.
- 팀 성적 향상을 위해 많은 노력이 필요할 것 같다.
▲ 노력한 만큼 결과가 나오면 정말 좋지만 그게 힘든 것 같다. 노력도 중요하지만 그만큼 생각하는 것도 중요하다고 생각한다.
- 신상문이 프로리그 100승을 달성했다.
▲ 경기장에서는 상문이 형이 주장으로서 우리를 항상 이끌어준다. 상문이 형이 있어 정말 믿음직스럽고 열심히 할 수 있다. 그런데 경기장과는 달리 숙소에서는 너무 우유부단하다. 마치 팀원 모두가 주장 같다(웃음). 하지만 상문이 형이 열심히 노력하고 있고 우리도 도와주고 있으니 최고의 주장이 될 수 있을 거라고 믿는다.
- 끝으로 하고 싶은 말은
▲ 오늘 연습을 도와준 팀원들과 전 코치님에게 감사 드린다. 오늘 내가 에이스결정전에서 상문이 형의 의자를 빼주는 퍼포먼스를 했는데 감독님이 나 아니라고 엄청 당황하시더라. 감독님의 신임을 얻을 수 있도록 실력 향상을 위해 노력하겠다(웃음).

Q: How do you feel about your 100th Proleague win?
A: There are a lot of players who achieved it and I’m happy to join them. Before I hit 100 wins, I was worried whether I would stay in the 90s forever but I’m glad I was able to achieve it quickly. Last time, I became the sacrifice for
free’s 100th win and since he became my sacrifice today, my happiness feels like it has been doubledQ: You must have strong feelings about your 100th victory
A: While playing a lot of games as “Miracle Sparkyz”, I have had a lot of comeback wins and comeback losses. Now that I achieved 100 wins, I will think of it as starting over and try my hardest.
Q: You tried a 3-port in set 1
A: It’s one of many strategies that I planned. Grand Line is better for Terran in TvZ so I could play with an advantage no matter what build I chose. I played comfortably because of that, but I was surprised when I was put into danger. Thankfully, I overcame the hurdle and won the game.
Q: Your haven’t used Wraiths recently
A: I wanted to change my style. It also felt like I was losing skill because I used Wraiths too much. So now, I’m finding a way to maintain my skill level and use Wraiths together. I think I can show it pretty soon.
Q: Did you predict Free’s appearance in the ace match?
A: I somewhat predicted it, but he really showed up. I had a hard time planning out a build but I think I was able to win easily because my 2 fact worked really well.
Q: Why did you use 2 fact?
A: I just wanted to use it. I always have a feeling before I enter the booth, but today I felt like using 2 fact. My feeling worked really well and I was able to win.
Q: Your team was slumping recently
A: My shoulders were heavy during our losing streak. I tried my best to improve the atmosphere among the teammates. We will perform a miracle once again.
Q: Anything else?
A: My team and I had slumped recently so a lot of people were worried, but I hope everyone’s worry has disappeared from today’s 2 wins. I will steadily move up again so I hope they continue to cheer for me.

- 프로리그 100승을 거둔 소감
▲ 지금껏 100승을 한 선수들이 많은데 나도 이렇게 그 선수들 대열에 낄 수 있게 돼서 기쁘다. 100승 하기 전에 아홉 수에 걸리지 않을까 걱정했는데 이렇게 금방 해서 기분 좋다. 지난 번에 윤용태 선수의 100승 제물이 됐었는데 이번에 이렇게 내가 윤용태 선수를 제물로 100승을 해서 기쁨이 배가 된 것 같다.
- 프로리그 100승의 감회가 새로울 것 같다.
▲ 미라클 스파키즈로 불리며 많은 경기를 하는 동안 역전승도 있었고 역전패도 있었다. 이렇게 100승을 했으니 다시 시작한다는 생각으로 열심히 하겠다.
- 1세트에서 3스타포트 전략을 사용했는데
▲ 여러 가지 전략 중 하나를 선택한 것이다. 그랜드라인이 저그에 비해 테란이 좋아서 무슨 전략을 하든 유리하게 경기할 수 있다. 그래서 편안하게 경기했는데 위기를 맞아서 당황스럽기도 했다. 다행히도 위기를 잘 넘겨서 승리할 수 있었다.
- 최근 레이스 활용이 뜸했는데
▲ 스타일을 바꾸고 싶었다. 또 레이스만 계속 사용하다 보니 실력이 줄어드는 느낌이 들었다. 지금은 실력을 늘리면서 레이스를 사용할 수 있는 방안을 연구 중이다. 곧 있음 보여드릴 수 있을 것 같다.
- 에이스결정전에서 윤용태의 출전을 예상했나
▲ 대충 예상은 했다. 그런데 진짜로 윤용태 선수가 나오더라. 그래서 전략에 대한 고민이 많았는데 2팩토리 전략이 잘 통해서 쉽게 승리한 것 같다.
- 2팩토리 전략을 사용한 이유가 궁금하다.
▲ 그냥 하고 싶었다. 경기 들어가기 전 느낌이 있는데 오늘 느낌은 2팩토리였다. 그 느낌이 잘 들어맞아서 승리한 것 같다.
- 최근 팀이 부진에 빠져 있었다.
▲ 연패를 할 때는 어깨가 무거웠다. 주장으로서 팀원들의 분위기를 살리기 위해 노력했다. 이제부터 미라클을 다시 일으키겠다.
- 끝으로 하고 싶은 말은
▲ 요즘에 팀도 부진하고 나도 부진해서 많은 분들이 걱정하셨는데 오늘 2승으로 그 걱정이 다 사라졌으면 좋겠다. 차근차근 다시 올라갈 테니 많은 응원 부탁 드린다.
