L_Master's Quest for C-
Since picking up BW and starting to get into it in late 09' it's always been a goal of mine to reach the yellow ranks. I've had a couple periods of good solid playing, but a large portion of my games has been goofing around or just not playing enough in general.
Now that I've gotten priorities and such started out and have a plan for attacking school/medschool/RL stuff it's time to really put into motion my efforts to achieve this goal.
My basic plan is this:
- 2 hours of play each evening, planning on 10:00 PM - 12:00 PM (Mountain); though I can't guarantee I'll always be playing at that time or that amount.
-2 or 3 hours each day on the weekend, planning on around 9:00 PM - 12:00 PM (Mountain)
-Organized Practice System +Step 1 - Find one solid B.O. for each MU and develop perfect execution, watch replays to get a general feel for transitions based on what opponent does. Start using F-Keys for work x-fer, learn to 1a2a3a correctly (a.k.a. don't hit every single key with middle finger), goons/zeals on seperate hotkeys, shore up additional mechanical/physical inefficies/problems +Step 2 - Macro, Macro, Macro; solidify macro by prioritizing it above all else. Slow down if neccessary to develop this +Step 3 - Engagements - Work on army positing and engagements, watch replays/VOD's to learn how to position against various situations +Step 4 - Transitions/Response - Develop efficient solid transitions depending on what opponent is doing, proper tech timing, emphasis on scouting
I think if I get solid at all of those I shouldn't have any difficulty playing at C- level.
Your thoughts, feedback, and advice are always welcome and greatly appreciated; whether its here, on stream, or in game. Thanks for tuning in guys.
Feel free to drop by and check it out, chat, and of course advice is always welcome.

I love BW streams!!!
you have such a high apm for being only D/D+!
A tip: For PvP and PvT don't be afraid to put pylons around the edges of your base, so you know where a drop is coming from, and it helps you scout your base to know no one is cheesing!

Doing a little streaming for a while here, some ladder play and trying to commentate my thoughts as I play.

Great to see that there are people streaming despite Nation Wars are being streamed currently! Your high apm also surprises me alot! You'll definitely reach C-(unless I'm outdated and you've achieved it already)!

ive got some feedback or what not, dunno if u read this chat but ill put it here anyway,
So to start with.. you should try to find at least some info about the players who are playing, cuz theres gamers(like me) who plays but dont know to much (or anything) about some of the people playing.. so introducing them properly is a way to share them some love and make the stream more fun for viewers.
also i think its better if u make sure to not talk or interact to much with the chat, better to focus on the game rather the chat, even if its only 1 minute in.. hacklebeast read chat to much and miss the openings which is pretty terrible casting.
TL;DR
1)find more info about the guys playing said match 2)Dont interact much with chat,if anything at all-(except breaks etc.)
Good luck!

Been a while since a comment but yea I do read this. Thanks for the feedback btw, was definitely reading the chat a little too much today, totally agree with you there. As far as knowing about the players I need to follow NW, and the higher level foreign BW stuff myself much more.

I don't know why more people aren't watching your casts. You're a really good commentator.
