Flash: "My plan is to literally smack Kwanro with a keyboard. And then transition into Battlecruisers."
Flash gets to showcase his near-invincible TvZ against everyone's favorite all-in Zerg. In the Winner's League playoffs, Kwanro ignored Chill's advice and made not only a lair, but a hive. Light responded by mercilessly crushing Kwanro with his awesomeness. Flash is going to be even more of a pain to deal with, considering the last TvZ Flash lost was to Jaedong (who Flash is 4-3 against this season, although losing

TvZ on Eye of the Storm: 29-22
TLPD Map Balance Table Says: Slight imba towards Zerg.
Baby shocked everyone when he royal roaded his way into the Round of 16 despite having been drawn into Jaedong's group. With a little help from map doodads on GBR, Baby secured himself a place next to Stork, Hwasin, and last OSL's semifinalist Movie. Although Baby's been impressive recently, with wins over Jaedong and TvT gosu Really, this is still Stork, who beat Flash straight up in the last Round of 16. Even players who are damn good at TvP like Really, fantasy, and Sea lose to him. Look for some one-sidedness and Stork being extra careful about map doodads.

Pure: "Fresh clams anyone?"
Pure is starting to turn into a bit of an individual league specialist while not being able to help WeMade Fox out that much in proleague for whatever reason. While some might say he gets easy opponents (Canata? Action? Special? HYUK?) he was the winner of one of the most awesome Bo3s of 2009 against Leta, using his carriers to shut down Leta's Ghost build. However, this is PvZ, a matchup where Pure has struggled despite having an awesome Dragoon/Reaver push up his sleeve. Calm, on the other hand, came into the spotlight after ZvZing his way to an MSL title, and has managed to keep a decent record despite playing way too many ZvTs, which anyone who has watched Calm knows is by far his worst matchup. His ZvP should be more than good enough to beat Pure, but this game is much more likely than the previous 2 to have an upset, no matter what the results of last OSL's Ro8 might say. (You might not remember because it was sandwiched between Flash's bunker rush and Shine's ling run-by, but Calm beat Pure 2-0)

EffOrt: "You can't tell because jalstar screwed up the picture, but I'm drinking the brains of my enemies."
EffOrt's 8 game losing streak against Terran has gotten so bad that losing to fOrGG would actually be an improvement. Look at it this way: the streak started with losses to Light, Leta, and Upmagic, all of whom have good TvZ. Then he lost to names like MVP, Bogus, and go.go. Who loses to go.go? So a loss to fOrGG, who also has good TvZ, would put him back in the losing to good players category. And yes, fOrGG's TvZ is still good. Not "I'm going to win another finals against Jaedong" good, since even Flash couldn't do that. Ok, there are some losses in his record, like Hyuk (who loses to Hyuk?), but he's all-around solid when you watch him play and he even beat former cho-gosu (and still good) ZvTer Yarnc to get to the round of 16. Look for this to be the closest match despite EffOrt's recent form, even if this isn't one of the most exciting groups, with the other two players being Shine and go.go.
