i don't know if this has been mentioned before, but i found a way to stack Mutalisks and keep them stacked stationary. You just have to select all Mutas and spam right click right below them until they are all stacked together. Then you use the patrol button and left click on the same spot you right clicked all the time and the Mutas will keep stacked. They will also attack anything that comes close, but i couldn't figure out a way to keep them perfectly stacked while moving
I included a video, they look like some kind of flower when you stack 100 of them =)
Stationary Mutalisk stacking
Greetz Error Ash
Edit: Wow, finally SlayerSBoxeR himself found a way to put this to use:
I believe you can group them with an overlord, as in sc1, and they will stack while moving around. I didnt know about the stacking while stationary tho. cool!
im gonna try out some if its possible to stack up, attack, stack fly back while stacking and keep doing
damn muta micro might work but its gonna take so damn much more apm if this method works lol
edit: ok i tested, doesnt work, as soon as they start attack or move they just spread out rly quickly, like when u stack 20 drones on a mineral and they all spread in like 0.5 sec

A lot of people are complaining that this game is too automated and requires low apm. If muta micro is possible but more difficult that would be awesome because it would be a real showing of elite play whereas bw muta play has become something most everyone who puts in a few hours of effort can do.
Well i don't think this can be used as an advantage, by stacking them this way you can only get 1 shot off before they start unstacking, so you can only shoot stacked while standing still (or moving only very slowly) :/
Yeah I did this behind an opponent's main mineral line with banshees in such a way that there was only one small space where ground units could defend from, from which they die instantly to the stack. I've been trying to find other uses for it in the past couple of days but haven't come up with much.

still processing so quality is low
i'm just attacking my own building so i can't just Amove. it's better vs real target
The problem is that if you move them back and forth, they do this turn animation which makes them fly separate routes. Also they slow down to shoot, which especially sucks while following stuff.
