Q: How do you feel about leading your team to victory with 3 kills?
A: I believe that there isn’t anyone who has done 2 consecutive all-kills. I was therefore greedy about it, but I’m satisfied with 3 kills. I want to show better games in the future.
Q: You beat
JangBi really easilyA: I prepared the build after analyzing Jangbi’s plays.
Light built turrets, but I made units until my push timing.Q: Your timing pushes seem to work really well recently against Protosses
A: In one point, TvP was really hard for me. When Terrans were losing a lot to the Six Dragons, I came up with this build, but after my OSL win, I had a lot of time left, so I refined it. Although it’s similar to other people’s FD, I have my own special way of managing it, so I think it will be hard for people to copy. In the past, I’ve stated that I had a revolutionary TvP build and that build is what I’m using right now.
Q: Your game against FirebatHero was a comeback
A: Honestly, the comeback happened so quickly, that I don’t know how I won (laughs). I was going to forfeit after dragging the game out a little more, but I saw that FirebatHero was letting his guard down, and when I dug into that weakness, I was able to win. The fact that I was ahead of him in upgrades helped a lot as well. My giving up of my natural was also probably the best decision I could have made in that situation.

Stork used a fast DT rushA: In games, I tend to rely a lot on my senses. Something felt weird, so I built turrets and luckily blocked it.
Q: In your game against Stork, you were also at a disadvantage when you lost your army
A: I found my own way of management in TvP. Therefore, even though I lost all my army, I thought I could win in a management game. Also, I checked that Stork built 2 Citadels and 2 Archives with scan. I used the fact that my opponent was nervous and planted a lot of mines. When a Protoss becomes nervous, they have hard time clearing out mine fields calmly.
Q: Your game against
M18M must be regrettingA: My first scout should have gone into his base, but it didn’t so it’s disappointing. I was also stunned after his DT rush. That’s why I made a mistake of building 2 Engineering Bays.
Q: You fans prepared an event for your wins
A: I felt great. I was touched by their cheers and their love for me. I was honestly worried about starting the match. However, thanks to the cheers, I think I was able to perform well and turn my game against FirebatHero around. I thank my fans who always cheer me on.
Q: Anything else?
A: Recently, I’ve been performing at my best condition. I’m confident that I won’t lose to anyone, so we will win the Winner’s League and the Proleague Finals.

Q 3킬로 팀을 승리로 이끈 소감은.
A 2연속 올킬을 달성한 사람이 없는 것으로 안다. 그래서 그 기록에 욕심이 났지만 3킬을 한 것으로도 만족한다. 앞으로 더욱 좋은 경기를 보여주고 싶다.
Q 허영무에게는 손쉽게 승리했다.
A 허영무 선수의 플레이를 분석한 뒤 빌드를 준비한 것이다. 이재호 선수는 터렛을 건설했지만 나는 그 타이밍까지 끌어 올려 병력을 모은 것이
Q 최근 프르토스를 상대로 타이밍 공격이 잘 통하는 것 같다.
A 한 때 프로토스전이 정말 어려웠다. 테란들이 한때 육룡들에게 많이 패했을 때 연구하던 빌드였는데 스타리그 우승을 하고 난 뒤 시간이 남아 열심히 가다듬었다. 다른 사람들과 비슷한 FD(페이크 더블)라고 볼 수도 있지만 나만의 미세한 운영법이 있기 때문에 아마 따라 하기는 힘들 것 같다. 예전에 프로토스를 상대할 획기적인 빌드가 있다고 말한 적이 있는데 그 빌드가 최근 내가 사용하고 있는 타이밍 러시다.
Q 이성은과 경기는 역전승이었는데.
A 사실 순식간에 역전을 했기 때문에 나도 어떻게 이겼는지 모르겠더라(웃음). 사실 경기를 조금만 더 끌고 항복을 선언할 생각이었는데 이성은 선수가 방심을 하는 것이 보였고 그 점을 파고들다 보니 이길 수 있었다. 또한 업그레이드를 앞선 것도 이길 수 있었던 비결이었다. 앞마당을 과감하게 포기한 것도 그 상황에서 내릴 수 있는 최고의 판단이었던 것 같다.
Q 송병구가 빠른 다크템플러 전략을 사용했다.
A 게임을 할 때 원래 감에 많이 의존을 한다. 뭔가 낌새가 이상해서 터렛을 건설했고 운 좋게 막아낼 수 있었다.
Q 송병구과 경기도 진출 병력을 다 잃고 불리한 상황이었는데.
A 게임을 하면서 프로토스전에서 나만의 운영법을 찾았다. 그래서 진출한 병력을 다 잃었다고 하더라도 운영 싸움으로 가면 충분히 이길 수 있을 것이라고 생각했다. 그리고 (송)병구형이 아둔과 템플러 아카이브를 두 개 지은 것을 스캔으로 확인했다. 상대가 긴장하고 있다는 것을 이용해 마인을 충분히 심었다. 원래 프로토스가 긴장하면 침착하게 마인을 제거하는 플레이를 하지 못하더라.
Q 손석희와 경기가 아쉬울 것 같다.
A 첫 일꾼이 상대 본진으로 들어갔어야 했는데 그러지 못해 아쉽다. 다크템플러 공격 이후에도 많이 당황했다. 그래서 엔지니어링 베이도 두 개나 건설하는 실수를 했던 것 같다.
Q 팬들이 우승 기념 이벤트를 준비했는데.
A 굉장히 뿌듯했다. 정말 나를 한결같이 좋아해 주시고 응원해 주시는 것이 너무 감격스러웠다. 사실 내가 선봉이기 때문에 지면 어떡하나 부담이 되긴 했다. 하지만 응원의 기운을 받아서 더 좋은 경기를 펼칠 수 있었던 것 같다. 응원 덕에 이성은 선수와 경기도 역전을 할 수 있었다. 항상 응원해 주시는 팬들께 감사 드린다.
Q 마지막으로 하고 싶은 말은.
A 요즘 다시 경기력을 끌어올리면서 최상의 컨디션을 유지하고 있다. 그 누구와 경기해도 지지 않을 자신이 있기 때문에 위너스리그 우승, 이번 시즌 광안리 우승으로 모든 한을 씻겠다.

Q: Your feelings on ending the match for the team
A: I have never won the last game for the team, so it feels different. However, Flash performed so well before me that it doesn’t feel like too much.
Q: Did you practice ZvP for today?
A: If Flash had lost against Stork, I would have probably come out. I’m really confident against Protoss, so whenever Khan’s Protoss was up, I was ready to be sent out.
Q: You ended the game with Mutalisks
A: It wasn’t planned beforehand. My opponent was too tired from Flash’s game, so he didn’t get to play as well.
Q: When did you think you won?
A: I thought the game was over when I broke his natural gas.
Q: KT Zergs haven’t done well recently
A: I think we can do better. There are too many good players in our team that it’s hard to do well.
Q: You were going to leave without an interview today
A: Flash was so good today that I thought I wouldn’t get an interview (laughs).
Q: Your team’s undefeated in Winner’s League
A: Our team is at the best condition. I wish mine were better too. I’m disappointed that I don’t get a lot of chances to play. Even when I ask my manager, there are too many good players in the team that it’s hard to play. I think it’s hard even when you have too many good players in a team (laughs).
Q: Are you always confident in your ZvP?
A: I’m always confident in it, so whenever a Protoss from opposing team comes out, I’m prepared. However, Stats has been showing good games against Protosses that even that’s not enough now (laughs).
Q: Anything else?
A: I want to thank Flash for doing so well today. However, I hope Flash doesn’t start the matches from now. I think he’ll all-kill every time and leave nothing for other players. Please don’t make us jobless (laughs).

A 내가 팀 승리를 마무리한 적은 없었기 때문에 기분이 색다르다. 하지만 앞에서 (이)영호가 워낙 좋은 경기를 펼쳤기 때문에 부끄럽다.
Q 프로토스전 준비를 하고 있었나.
A (이)영호가 송병구 선수에게 졌어도 내가 나갔을 것이다. 프로토스전에 워낙 자신 있기 때문에 오늘 삼성전자 프로토스가 경기석에 있는 한 내가 언제든 나갈 준비를 하고 있었다.
Q 뮤탈리스크로 경기를 끝냈는데.
A 즉흥적으로 한 플레이였다. 상대 선수가 이영호전에서 너무 힘을 빼서 제대로 된 경기를 펼치지 못한 것 같다.
Q 언제 이겼다고 생각했나.
A 앞마당 가스통을 파괴했을 때 게임이 끝났다고 생각했다.
Q 최근 KT 저그 성적이 좋지 않았는데.
A 좀더 분발해야겠다고 생각했다. 워낙 우리 팀에 잘하는 선수들이 많아서 승수를 쌓고 있기 때문에 입지가 좁아지고 있다.
Q 오늘 인터뷰를 하지 않고 가려고 했다.
A 사실 오늘 영호가 경기를 너무 잘해서 나는 인터뷰를 안 할 줄 알았다(웃음).
