The WCG 2009 Grand finals will make it's first appearance in mainland China and returns to Asia after three years of absence. Due to the economic climate, this will be a smaller tournament than in previous years. However, It should be a nice small Starcraft tournament with some World-class players.

Yeah, Poland has one slot and I'm pretty sure that top2 and top3 won't pay for their own, that costs too much :\

And BTW You should edit Republic of China into Taiwan, I believe :D

It's perfectly acceptable to call it either, I believe ROC is the more PC way of writing it. I know that the chances of someone paying for their flight from Ukraine or Poland is almost nothing, regrettably.

Organizer of WCG Malaysia is pretty irresponsible. They announced 3 official games with SC included and confirmed that it will take place soon about 3 months ago. However, that also was the one and only update we've received so far. Grand Final will be held in November and I'm wondering if they really have the time to announce the venue date and get it going in time. Big Boo for 2009!
